  • @wxz177 there are still Books out so you can at least the technical Aspect. The Main Component of it all, the hard Work must come from you. The hardest Thing of all is to stick to it for a very long Time.

  • Slightly off topic xD But what's the most significant difference between Chinese martial arts to Japanese martial arts? :D

  • @MrLukees

All Japanese fighting styles originate from China. It was carried to Okinawa by immigrants and then passed on to the Japanese mainland by Okinawans. "Karate" literally meant "Chinese hands".

  • @Shaolinkungfucat How about jujitsu?

  • @JESUSISGREATEST

It is called 柔术。 In the 17th century, a Chinese man named Chen Yuan Ping introduced the techniques of jujutsu to three ronin - Fukuno Hichiroemon, Miura Yojiemon, and Isogai Jirozaemon.

So, most likely, Jujitsu also had Chinese origins.

  • @Shaolinkungfucat How about Ninjutsu?

  • @Shaolinkungfucat

So you're saying Jiujitsu was introduced by a Chinese pugilist to Japan, i've always thought jujitsu, unlike karate, had it's origins purely from the shogunate warriors from ancient japan,

  • @Shaolinkungfucat hmmmm, another definition says it means empty Hand because you use it with your bare Hands.

  • gel yarramı yala

  • BEAUTIFUL.. :)

  • i would do anything to go to china and learn kung fu. do they teach it to foreigners?

  • @sinfulxthin um, they do. well, some do. But if you live in America, i just need to say that my grandmaster of my school said that the good gung fu is actually here (america) becuz the great masters came here after china drove them out.

  • @bugsniffer10 i agree.well, i hope all the kung fu masters in other countries, can unite as a whole and drive out the communist party in china!!! a real republic of china will then be born again after the communist drove republic of china to taiwan.the day will come... and i promise...!!! communist china, i will come and get you one day!!!!

  • @mindawareness hahaha you have such big dreams in your life.China will overtake taiwan in one single day and thats all folks.

  • @sinfulxthin as bugsniffer10 say, the best masters are not live in china because of political asylum

although i'm chinese , i need to say, western people are more good at kung fu because they are interested in it.

  • @ufohk kung fu is not only martial arts it incorporates the ancient culture as well as social norms. and sometimes interest alone is not enough you would have to be brought up with it.
