Are the Ariakes any good? I looked at some reviews and alot of people were saying that they get worn down within afew runs

ARIAKES ARE GREAT!!!!!

Good Traction on everything

they make it Easier to balance on rails, and are very light

if your pk spots are generally Concrete though, go with 5.10s

5.10 Freerunners (v2) are THE BEST on concrete, nothing can beat them when it comes to concrete

but they are THE WORST on Rails

510 Freerunner = Black/White(AMAZING/SUCK)

Kswiss Ariake = Grey(good)

Ariaes do have good grip and a decent amount of sensitivity, however the do break down rather easy which is why K*swiss discontinued making them for a period of time.

Also 5.10 freerunners (v2) do have good grip, but they are STIFF and lack any sensitivity also too much cushioning which can lead to landing wrong and we all know that is bad hahah. I would suggest the 5.10 D'aescents. They have really good grip (with all stealth rubber shoes) and just the perfect amount of cushioning.

Well, if you are getting tired of pking alone id suggest getting someone to jam with you, and if you cant find anyone interested then have one of ur friends be ur camera man.

I know the last suggestion doesn't really address ur problem but at least you will see what you are doing well and poorly and you can work on those things.

But i know how u feel, i jammed alone for about 6 months and it wasnt that much fun.
