Thank you for posting this, this was simply beautiful. Ben Hur has one of the most amazing scores ever created for the cinema and the Introduction/Title sequence always brings to my ears because of its beauty. Thank you again. ^_^
Hello again Mr. Yamamshu...I am your King of Kings admirer...the angels surely must rejoice when they hear you play your heavenly music, Ben Hur, King of Kings, etc. Thank you for helping us to stay spiritual in a material world.
Miklos Rozsa was a Hungarian-born award winning composer and conductor, best known for his numerous film scores. He is considered one of the "founding fathers of film music.
And off course mr Yamamshu you can improve your self and who knows...one day you may compose music like the one you play on your piano. I strongly suggest to buy a synthesizer to play orchestral music.
Mr Yamamshu, whether professional or not, you are a great piano player! I know that Micklos Rozsa composed the music, but I guess that this unique piano version is yours!
I would love to see you play the theme from the film 'Exodus'...a musical fanfare which I believe sounds just as melodious on a piano. I'm sure you can play the notes by the ear...
I love the music for Ben Hur, El Cid & Quo Vadis...and of course the films themselves! Monumental epics! They don't make 'em anymore. Thanks for the piano pieces; they certainly make me want to practise more on my piano
Yes, I know. The beginning and the ending of what I played here were directly came from that folio. The love theme were quoted from that folio too but I had to transpose it to simulate the sound track.
I don't have music for "The Thief of Bagdad" unfortunately. Did you have a chance to see my other videos of "Quo Vadis" and "King of Kings"? And I am practicing "El Cid" and music titled "Beauty and Grace" from the movie "Diane" right now.
You are most welcome. Domo arrigato for your fine work. Please perform some more pieces. I would dearly love for you to do some pieces from "The Thief of Bagdad"...especially the main title sequence. :)

I like that Ben Hur Statue in the backdrop. It's like doing the thinker pose while chillin to this epic piano performance.

Just lovely...almost soothing rendition of one of my favourite pieces of film music. Dr. Rozsa would have approved. :)
