The song always makes me smile and feel good, this is a good cover especially doing it the wierd way Van Canto do it.

Great idea and awesome cover, the only thing I don´t like is that they always repeat the bandname 1 billion time in their covers. As for real instrumental Metal covers I prefer e.g. the version of "Seven Nation Army" from the White Stripes done by Duncan Winterbourne, best cover since ages imho

I had the bad luck to own "Fighting the World" as a first touch with the band, and it also made me a bad impression, together with the style as well. Fortunately, some years later i got into manowar, and was able to experience the greatness of their music.

Oh, and i happen to know that the responsible for all that style thing is their manager, who also managed KISS... you see the similarities i guess...

@Highlander01 it's due to the fact that they had this reputation of being a "studio band, a.k.a. having a singer, that didn't have the energy to preform live, he sang a couple of songs and he was toast due to the high demands to his voice. In a studio you can fix anything, that is why. Or that's what I've heard anyway. But I know they've preformed live a lot since I heard it and no one complained so, yeah, it's BS I suppose.
