I was in Rise' Dungeon, Striptease. I had found a reaper treasure chest and thought it wouldnt be a problem with Heat Riser, Power Charge and Hassou Tobi.

Needless to say I stuck to not opening reaper chests till I reached Magatsu Mandala.

actually he dosen't get two turns in persona 3 as i beat him on it and he only goes twice if he hits someones weakness or he can kill everyone with megidolaon but when i beat him i used koromaru aigis in yukari though not gonna lie it was hard as hell considering i was only lvl 74 and my only good persona was thanatos at lvl 72 with all stats at atleast 80 except luck which was 99 and that was beacuse of cup of king and other stats boosters and it took me a total of 31 turns......

Haha, I've found the Reaper on Yukiko's Castle when I was still level 9 and he raped me. The second time I found him, I was on level 15, but I beat him with Yoshitsune level 99 (Hassou Tobi SPAM FTW!!)

One question though. I'm trying to get all equipment for the party, but I've explored Yukiko's Castle like 10 times and I can't find him again. I've also explored Kanji's place and Rise's place a lot of times and nothing! I've read in a guide that he appears only on red chests, is that true?

@shadowclock12 The "Homunculus" is an item in P3 and P4 that protects you from instant death through light or dark magic. So when the reaper used "Mamudoon", it missed everyone except Yukiko, who would have died in one shot had you not had a "Homunculus" in your inventory. =P

Getting off topic, are there ANY other personas in this game w/ the skill "Debilitate" besides "Trumpeter"?

i found him to be easy when i use 1 physical mirror on my main chara. after you did hell use megidolaon only. will make the fight much better to predict. but my lv was also 77-80 or so.

The game is really cruel I found this guy in my second runthrough when I was only level 14 in Yukiko's castle. : ( Thankfully I had the good sense to vanish ball before it ripped me to shreds. It won the first turn too because I had a reversed sun card, but thankfully it only mind charged (didn't stick around to get wiped) Can I still fight it later? Or was that my only chance?

@RobloxMario Well, if you think about it, Chie sometimes uses metal greaves, so when she's wearing those and she blocks with them, it's plausible.

In this case, however? The plausibility is a little...off. (Unless she somehow hides metal plates in her running shoes). It also doesn't show her actually trying to block with her feet/legs.

Hey, if you find the chest with the reaper early in the game and you say not to open it, he never appears again, right? I did this when exploring yukiko's castle for the first time. Out of fear of getting my butt kicked after mayor leveling up at the start, I said no, but he never appeared again...
