I sympathize greatly with ms Christman for the fraud she was exposed to, but feel that she is poorly informed about some aspects of her speech. I am a spiritualist and believe in spiritual reality but am not a scientologist.
I have seen what happens within psychiatry and know that the image presented by scientology of psychiatry is 100% justified. The worst abuses described by Tori are grave indeed, but not at all any worse than what I know happen within psychiatry. It is a little saddening
that she seems to be supporting a proession that commits as bad things on people as those she speaks out on. Similarly I have defended scientology before. Actually, Hubbard's 'thoughts' regarding Scientology weren't, for the most part, his own. He 'lifted' many of his ideas from Hinduism, Christianity and other religions, not to mention, out of date Psychological ideas, like psychoanalysis.
