@ImRatherTall Green lights can only be used when a doctor is on board, its has both green and blue because people react and move out the way for blue lights better than they do for green.
@ImRatherTall Green lights only are not emergency light they mean please move aside and let me through but they cannot break the traffic laws, with blue lights they are an emergency vehicle allowing them to run red lights and break speed limit, also means GET out of my way!
@tomisaacs101 Green lights are emergency lights and are used to identify a doctor responding, according to the highway code (rule 219). My father is a paramedic and a good friend of his is a doctor at the Royal Victoria Hospital in Belfast, his Audi A4 estate has headlight flashers, green grill strobes and green mag mount for the roof. And I have seen him on two occasions going down the M2 motorway well over the ton, while responding to calls.
