This game was really great but it was to difficult and was incredibly flawed by not having a save feature. I remember playing until the level where your chased by the giant and then died. With no saves means starting from the beginning after getting the game over screen :|

Come on. This game wasn't THAT hard. I got all the way to the giant chase and after that I don't remember if I won the gave or gave up. I don't remember those medieval levels so perhaps I gave up. *shrugs* Who knows?

@Rockbond07 No. The PlayStation version had more dialogue from Mickey Mouse, more soundtrack and had an animation to a world you are about to go to with an old version of Mickey. The reason of this was that the developers made the game bigger as it could be fit in a CD whereas this could not have been to cartridges like Mickey Mania.

Also, the PS1 was a generation ahead. So, it's very likely it's better than the SNES and Mega Drive/Genesis' version.

Mickey Mania is the original version of this game. Disney was trying to celebrate Mickey's 60th B-Day in 1993, and they wanted to make the game. However, they only had a mere 6 months for the game. No game can be created at that time, so they scratched the idea. Then, they had an idea; if Mickey were to travel back in time and see what he's been through, what would it be like? Thus, Mickey Mania and Mickey's Wild Adventures were born.

It was designed by David Jaffe who is a huge fan of Disney Land so that 's why 3:10 reminds you of the Haunted Mansion. You will probably still find it difficult. The executive producer admits that he made it too difficult.

It lets you play the first stage of each level up to Lonesome Ghosts, then tells you to try the full game. I think, anyway.

Nope, unfortunately not. But the game isn't too long, so it's not a huge problem. Im glad they remade it on PS1, I wouldn't have got to play it otherwise. It was my first ever game I think.

I was able to get to the last boss (Pete) in the Genesis version - but EVEN then I wasn't able to beat him and the game! I think the farthest I was able to go without cheats was the part with the bugs, and I barely remember that. I guess it's from the Giant and the Beanstalk.
