people say this game is repeative. It is..if you make it that way. people need to spread it out. Do a faction mission, then do a weapon shop mission, then do a buddy mission, then another faction. Mixed it up.

dont understand the negativity! a roaming far reaching game! however it became generic the more you got into it! ie it repeated itself over a long period! anyway it was and is still an excellent game! I am probably about 20% through this game. So far the story is a bit lacking, BUT I still love the game.On the plus side it is totally open ended (in a sense the player creates his own story)--you have the freedom to play from many different approaches. Very cool map, which I find is a lot of fun to explore while you are fragging enemies. I also find it to be VERY immersive as well,--you can almost feel the sweltering African heat. Good level of intensity--9.5/10 so far.

i hated this game at first, than i played fallout 3 for 50 hours, than i came back to farcry and totally love it, i think i was playing like a first person shooter, but its kinda better thinking about it as an rpg :)

Awsome game, only a little disapointed by the story, just wasent very compelling. As the player i ddint feel very connected with what was going on with the game, the jackal bits are great, some real great dialouge but his appearances are too far and few. Other than that the game was just awsome.

this game is amazing i havent really played the multiplayer enough to flat out say i dont like it, my first impression was that the multiplayer was only so-so...but even with that the single player is sooo much fun...only wish they had put in split screen, that wouldve been great...

I have the 360 version & I'm mighty impressed with the graphics of the game. The shooting factor is also very good. Although, sigh, this game has one big problem; Do you remember a game called: Just Cause? The problem is when people make a game big and beautiful but they don't put enough stuff into the massive world! Imagine this game with exploration factor of a Bethsoft production such as Oblivion or even Fallout 3. I hope a game like that gets made someday, this game proves it's possible!

Thanks for the comment however the whole purpose of feedback is to encourage game designers to try harder. They have the luxury of hearing this after we have paid! so when sometimes you get a game and its so bugged out it should be called BETA then you have to say something!. I hated it to begin with....now! I love it! yes I know its repetitive but the game is huge! I just can pick it up some nights and play an hour and blow shit up! Its therapeutic plus Ive been doin that for a month and I ve only spunked 55% of this!.

One thing! next time make the med packs more user friendly, cos when under fire it does the stupid syringe thing or that other stupid thing when he lights matches or gets his knife out and digs slugs out it all takes 2 much time I'm getin shot!

lol dont get shot so much or lower the difficulty. I like the way they did the healing in this game. it's bad enough you can just take your magical medicine that instantly heals bullet wounds like most games. It makes it more challenging and urges the player to be more strategical and not just some rambo audie murphy.

Generally I dont its just as you said if I get caught in a situation where I have rushed in I need to dose up quickly, if the charater is down to one bar what you dont need is time taken up digging a bullet out or lighting matches to seal th ewound as by the time hes done it hes dead...but yeah perhaps get shot less lol!!

I think Far cry 2 is a verry good challenging game there is so much to get stuck into and the fact its completly open map wise makes it a really good crack...Shame more things cant be blown up and get concusion blasts , i,e like battlefeild modern combat but far cry 2 rocks AWSOME well worth the cash!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Farcry 2 is Number one in my book! i do hope there will be some more fixes down the road though. the vehicals needs to take more damage its hard to use them tacticly, but other then that see u on the Battlefield. oh and come on, why can't we use the new add on vehicals/weapons in the map editor?

I thought Far Cry 2 was awesome. I have seen so many people complaining some things but the game works really well. I like the re-spawn as it gives more action and the travelling brings in a sense of atmosphere.

- the solo of FC2 is just objects on a graphic engine - nothing climbable !! - you feel more freedom and diversity in FC1 even with levels

- the multi display of FC2 is completely archaic: you dont even see your own ping (...) and disconnexions all the time
