I heard this divine composition around 1993 on FM radio. Since that day the bhazan has been resounding in my ears almost every morning. I made every effort to trace the CD of the Bhazan bot was deeply disappointed. I am ecstatic today to find it on Youtube.

Songs such as this one, in a technical manner of speaking, would have been better rendered by Asha Bhonsle. I wonder why Hridayanath didn't use Asha that much for his songs.

This is incorrectly labeled as from the movie Lal Salaam. It is actually from the movie Subah in the eighties, Subah was parallel to Umbartha, where Lataji sang the song "Gagan Sadan..". This song was a parallel prayer to gagan sadan. Incidentally Smita Patil starred in both movies.
