@TwistaX1 It will only blow away if you drop it from too high. Being 6'7", I understand your problem. Throw a little sand on the bottom of the board before you drop it. The sand will weigh it down and it'll cone off when it hits the water

sooo inspirational. i've been skimming all last year and could never get on top of a wave, my board was wood i believe. might be a dumb question; but foam is the way to go to skim like this right? not including the hours upon hours of practice. i wanna be able to float!!

@whispersihearyour Foam will help a lot. A high end board will help even more than that. A high end exile will be even better than that... :) Do yourself a favor and pick up a foam board. It really should help quite a bit.

@MrClarkinator22 Most people seem to think they are really bad. I hardly ever see them as they only seem to be sold ont he east coast. No one has them anywhere else. Should be sufficient to learn how to drop the board and such... but if you want to take it further its probably best to get yourself a real board.

i live in florida and i go to dania beach where the waves can be from 2 feet to about 10 when i go its usually for to six but when in go in to the wave and then i turn but sometimes i can get a realy sick ride but most of the times i sink in to the wave right before it starts to curl or barrel. any tips?

@RNKSoccer its always a combination of wave selection, timing, running fast, technique and having the right equipment. Its impossile to say what the probalem might be in our case, but if you work on those things you are bound to improve!
