Strymon Orbit Flanger guitar effects pedal demo

i personally buy a pedal for one effect possibility. I want a flanger to give me the studio flange effect, the jet, I use a chorus pedal and a tremolo pedal for all the other effects necessary. I would like to see someone, anyone, come up with one that is an expression pedal that has the studio flange, jet and nothing else, i dont want a fange pedal that sounds like a wah wah being sucked through a tube coming from the bottom of a 55 gallon drum. Chicago iron pedal maybe? Tychobrae

I have this flanger. It's pretty freaking amazing and versatile. I think I like the Thru-Zero on the TC Electronics Nova Modulator though; it sounds more authentic to a true tape flanger. I have the new TC Vortex Flanger on the way (which has the same Thru-Zero algorithm as the Nova Modulator), so the Strymon could end up being kicked off my board. It really depends if the Vortex can also do the same chorusy-flange that the Strymon does so well. And I'm looking forward to the Toneprint option!

Sweet flanger pedal! I loved the intermission music. Very versatile. Almost sounding like it's cousin the phaser in thru zero. Where not all the sounds are to my liking, you've got to love the pedal which can sound like this! But then again, flanger is soooo cool.
