  • Spanish, plz ^^

  • the 5th and 6th valves will be for your left hand..

  • @alanS5234 the 6th yes but no always with the 5th

  • I play euphonium and have 4 valves 3 top and 1 side. when I was looking for a new one I didn't want one with the 4 valves next to each other because using your pinky feels unpleasant to me.

  • I have 2 tubas, my intermediate level BBb yamaha from my high school, and my profesional level orchestral F yamaha tuba that I own from long-mcquade. My BBb has 4 valves, top action, and My F 5 valves front action. I know the fingerings for both fluently, which is pretty good since the fingerings are completely different, either way, I laugh because I get to use 5 valves and 4 valves. let's see anyone beet me with 6 or more valves.

  • @OOSUTINDIINN wouldn't you need to grow more fingers to play with more than 5 valves?

  • @purplerainbow14 the way it would work is you would either have 5 valves played by the right and one by the left, or, 4 valves played by the right and 2 valves played by the left. This is common on German style F tubas, like Miraphone and Meinl Weston/Melton. The two styles of valves that are common with the configurations stated above are 4 piston and 2 rotary valves, or, 6 rotary valves.

  • @OOSUTINDIINN that's cool :) thanks :)

  • can someone tell me diff between euphoniums and baritones cuz at first i had a three valve baritone and if i get a four valve baritone does it make it a euphonium

  • @jmcleroy4163 baritones are narrower. that's the only difference. I have a 3 valve euphonium.

  • what company is that tuba

  • second and fourth valve is a b natural, get it right. first second and third isnt even a note

  • Although there are idiosyncrasies around intonation the need for alternate fingerings are essential for certain pieces.

  • @Cappahunta

hey i had to do that b4 in school. the best thing to do is just to keep playing it over and over again. soon u'll know it by heart. lol

  • not true. I know alot of tuba players and for everyone including me 1+2 sounds better than 3 but youre right about the 1+2+3 thats worse than 2+4
