Steve, great video. One question, should the individual channel faders be set to 0, when you are controlling the incoming signal with the gain control, to set the meters correctly. regards James
i have a mixer mackie 32-8 and i have no clue how to use it ? it have some some many inputs the i can't understand because it has in the back and on the top too and also the preamp mic all together i can i use it with my 003 rack or connect it together how the signal flow works for both ? i have a a convert box the i can use to analog to digital they tell me i can use that way the mackie with my 003 and i will have 16 preamp mic how that work ? i have 003+ factory which it has 16 inputs
Allright Hi I Done This But And It Works Correctly But How To You Get The Microphone To Output Sound ? Like To Record Tracks Or Just Simple Voice Recordings ?
bro that was awesome. the song isnt that bad 'TAKE ON ME'. why do so many mixers don't have xlr outputs? this one is just str8 4ward. churr 4 that cuz.
yea..many of the cheaper mixers use 1/4 inch outputs because they are cheaper to buy and the holes for such connectors can be drilled instead of machine cut. thanks so much for the feedback and comment. we are very glad it was helpful. thanks
The song wasn't too good, but your video really helped. My friends and i are 13 and trying to start a band, and we all have no experience with mixers so thanks this video really made our lives a lot easier.
Masterfader(s) is/are the main outputs on the right, in the case of this mixer called main mix, the individual channel volumes are called channel faders or input faders.
it come with a power cable. depending on the model of bhringer mixer. usually an m-audio box has xlr inputs..you will need to come out the channels either with a direct out (probably quarter inch) or the main outputs (which could be either xlr or quarter inch depending on the model of mixer) and into your m audio device. hope this helps...
they are alright for a cheaper mixer. they will come with a power supply and you will need turnaround to get from quarter inch to xlr so that you can use the left and right outputs to send to your maudio interface.
does a mixer from a PA system work the same as this mixer or are they different?
for example, like this mixer below? I saw this at a local audio shop, would this work or live broadcasting such as play by play for games/podcasting?
