  • Wish you voted for him now!? Huh?!

  • Wish you voted for him now! Huh?!

  • WTB MOAR OLD PEOPLE

  • surgedark give me a break- the u.S health system is on life support.Canada/England have long waits if you are getting a non emergency type surgey or operation i.e Rhinoplasty, cosmetic surgery etc. However, at least and England/Canada you know it will be covered. In the U.S do you think the average Jane/John can afford the average surgery? Also Surgedark speak to the thousands and I mean thousands of Americans who were insured who got denied life saving surgery/operations

  • My friend I want the same coverage you have.

  • However, I do respect McCain's point that the Health care system is broke and needs to be fixed.

  • McCain belittles a possible government run option, but does he realize that Medicare is government owned. Also, England and Canada's Health care systems is far better than ours.

  • No, they are not.

The USA has some of the highest survival ratings against deadly diseases (Heart problems, cancer, etc) we also have a short waiting time.

If you like living in societies where they cut costs for healthcare, make you wait an average of 6 months for a simple appointment, then go on right ahead and live in Canada/England.

  • Mccain is a liar

hes been the most unvisible person in this debate

And he was the man who ran against Obama !

He is just a sleezy politician who will say what people want to hear

    Fuck John Mccain

  • He just says what people want to hear? I believe you're confusing him with your Messiah. Hope and change, HOPE AND MOTHERFUCKING CHANGE!

  • I guess you dont know much about Politics

Mccain is a democrat who ran against a communist.

You can get off your soap box because John Mccain isnt the answer to put an end to the Obama, Pelosi machine

The answer is someone who is a tru conservative and speaks the values of real americans

Not an old geezer like Mccain and his stupid trophy wife who tried to fool America with his lousy bid for President

    wake up man

  • I don't believe John Mccain is the answer to Obama but I think he would have been a better choice in 08. Do you believe Palin is a true conservative who speaks values of true Americans?

  • I do belive Palin is a force to be wreckened with. Its really simple the media hates her.

    We allready have our candidate.

  • To answer your question

Yes she is a true conservative

    Reasearch her record in Alaska

  • I know Palin's record quite well I plan to vote for her in 2012.

  • "The answer is someone who is a tru conservative " what you mean like George Bush or Sarah Palin or Cheney or Guliani and the other nuts who's only agenda is war? America is broken and those of you who don't have a passport to see other countries are being hoodwinked by the Republicans. Get a passport and travel abroad before you comment about Canadian or English healthcare.

BTW Please choose a more sociable name ; i can't even refer to you by name.

  • Mmman they must be getting payed well by the insurance companies to spook these gullible Americans out. What the hell is wrong with the government helping to keep the nation healthy? Somehow all these die hard conservatives have no problem trusting the government to run the army (which periodically is sent to kill people abroad) but to let the same government use it's organizational capacity to introduce the vital competition to the heath care market - that is a take over and is unacceptable ?!

  • Well said guys, either you are for the American public or you are for the insurance corporate scum, their is no grey area at this point, in fact alot of these foreclosures are due to medical bills that folks could not pay, and then they get garnished a portion of their W 2 paychecks, so this health care system is wreaking havoc on our economy along with the mass murder that the insurance denials cause all in the name of money profits, 428 % to be exact ! it is time to regulate insurance scum !

  • Most of these elderly folks who are against Obama's plan (my grandparents included) are behaving like irrational, selfish hypocrites. They benefited from the government their whole lives (the GI Bill, VA and SBA govt.-backed loans, FDIC insurance, Medicare, Social Security, etc.) -- not to mention defined-benefit pensions and workplace rights that were in place when trade unions were stronger -- yet they oppose government programs and (often) unions. I guess they got theirs, so screw the rest.

  • That's interesting I really didn't look at it that way!

  • This guy has been on government paid healthcare his whole life. . .and he's bitching about 'socialized healthcare' to a bunch of people on social security and medicare.

  • McCain argues against a public option because he fears it will mean the insurance companies won't survive. His priorities are wrong. He should be concerned about extending the survival of the American people and protecting their finances.

If the insurance companies cannot provide any competitive advantage, then they shouldn't survive. They are not adding any value to earn their fat profits. Why do some pay more for a product than its competitor? They perceive more value for their money.

  • They've been saying the same thing for thirty years...they HAVEN'T fixed, or even tried. We need to clean out the house next year...all of them.

  • McCain is a snake hiding in the bush. As soon as he gets the chance to strike, he'll nail you. I wouldn't believe an word that comes out of his mouth. He'll 'fix' health care, just like he fixed campaign finance reform. Arizona should get rid of this scum bag.

  • Have lost respect for McCain. He has no problem taking S.S at 23k/year and 58k/year for disability from where...the government. That he's ok with. But to have affordable health care for everyone that's government paid not government run oh hell no..we can't have anything for Americans. And we pay his premiums. You make me sick sir.

  • We do not want socialized medicine! Get rid of Social Security and Medicare--the government should not be helping its citizens! If you're too old to work or too poor to go to a hospital, then drop dead! We don't need you. This is America the land of the FREE and if we want a dog eat dog country, then we should have it and get what we deserve! Leave us alone! God Bless America!

  • there will never be socialized medicine, which is mostly the problem! according to obama's plan there will be a public option which everyone above the IQ of a dishwasher will take and then OUR taxpayer $ will subsidize horrible drug companies like Merck who charge 300-1000X more for their shitty pills than what they're worth.

  • Remember though...if people decide NOT to use the insurance plan or SOME insurance plan, because that's what kids do when they are young, this bill also charges them a fine of 2.5% of their gross income. Plus they will be (the young) will be paying as much as you or I in premiums, and not get a break for being young and healthy which is offered in the private sector.

Just keep that in mind too.

  • The foolish greedy idea that giving the top of the ladder a 17 % tax, while taxing the middle and lower class 27 %, ,entrusting corporate scumbag CEO s to trickle it down to us middle folks is a FARCE, it never trickled down to us and had no positive effect on the middle class, in fact when Reagan 1 st started his Macro ladder trickle BS, the country had recession signs already and he had to back off the overzealous tax cut for the fat cats, I respect Reagan ALOT, but he sucked at money math

  • I took economics in High School and in pre req college so I know plenty about economics and the non opinionated facts are that Reagans policies had nothing to do with growth 14 years later, in fact Clinton re adjusted the dumb ass tax math taht Reagan cursed us with, which is the main reason Clinton developed a surplus and not a defecit, all the Bushites, the GoP the last 8 years did pure Reaganomics and the dumb ass experiment FAILED

  • Clinton stopped spending on everything, Kevin. Even cut our military spending in half, eliminating a massive amount of civilian jobs contingent on military spending. THAT is what gave him a surplus. He stopped spending, which is GOOD, but he also cut valuable budgets that keep us safe. NOT so good.

Bush rebuilt what was left of the military after 9/11 causing a huge deficit in and of itself.

  • Side note: England is an island. It's a long swim for the illegals to get there and milk their healthcare. The entire country is the size of OUR state of NJ. A small scale healthcare plan is much easier to manage than a significantly larger country that has no where near the tax revenue to PAY for such a plan.

  • The vast majority od Canadians love their health system. Of course people bitch about it......people bitch about everything. Whenever they've proposed ending or changing Canadas system, its shocking how the complainers suddenly love their healthcare.

  • Reagan ended up being a superb commander and chief after listening to that liberal minded woman in the White House, he then learned that the Russian people were not a Godless people like he initially thought, he then was able to make good dialouge with them and then stood in front of the Berlin wall and made history, but as an economist ? he was the worst ever, Reaganomics is dumbshit math, giving the rich a taxbreak, and deregulating the banks is what Hoover did to cause the Great Depression !

  • You obviously have no concept whatsoever of Macroeconomics. The only thing that can truly be attributed to Reaganomics is the HUGE boom in the economy 14 years later...OH YEAH That is how long it takes for any macroeconomic policy to come to fruition. Who was President then???Oh yeah Clinton took the credit for those policies. You morons making statements about things you don't even understand. Read a book on economics before you speak poorly about one of the greatest American Presidents!

  • Moderate democrat here , I am overwhelmling impressed by Mc Cains speech here ,he didnt throw any mud, didnt buy into any BS rhetoric that wingnuts, and big corporate dollars are fabricating, showed the deserved respect that Obama very much deserved, as well as not trying to cover the Dick.Cheney Sham ,I hope to GOD that .Collins , Olympia Snowe, and Mc Cain can overhaul the G.O.P before we have no republicans at all which would not be good , we can get our Jack.Kemps, Lincolns and Powells back !

  • its funny that he says "look at england, look at canada" all those places have higher rated health care than the United States, so yea, PLEASE give us Canadas health care system, PLEASE give us Englands health care system.

  • saw the full meeting, they only got mad when he gave Obama too much credit. We sat in awe, McCain was too old to run for Prez.? What a joke that was. T'nite he b'gan w/a speech of @ 40 mins. He looked all around the room as he spoke from his heart (No prompters making him look like a dumb robot), he gave from memory, many, intricate facts & figures, never faultering once. He took questions & answered w/clarity & knowledge. & we have 44 yr old in the WH who can't make a intelligent sentence! Wow

  • Mr. McCain is right-I live in China and we mostly don't see doctors-our local HERBALIST takes care of everything. I have sore hip and bad heart and bear bile-taken from freshly killed bears, their gullbladder-fixes me up right away! We no need doctors, so McCain is right. You just need herbal remedies and bear bile medication and you will be just fine!!

  • Yes, the system is going broke. You are right. The health care system is broke. so how is doing nothing going to change that? Health insurance companies are ALREADY in competition and the prices are outrageous.

  • McCain's right. Look at Canada and the U.K. and compare. Ask Canadians and Brits and the French and Germans for that matter if they would trade what they've got for what we've got and unless they're very rich eccentrics they'd probably laugh at you for suggesting it. Over there politicians, right or left, would be committing political suicide for suggesting such a thing.

  • Im a big Democrat and a big Obama supporter but I have to say I really like and respect McCain he is a good politician.

  • He talks with a whistle, and that's annoying, and he chose that wolf killing moosburger eating freak for a running mate, who coincidentally was another beauty queen-like his first and second wife. Who fully qualifies as being a diplomat because she sees Russia across her back yard-the one and only loonie tunes SARAH PALIN.

  • Yes. Let's put a stop to government healthcare! It's time to abolish Medicare, Medicaid, the Veteran's Administration and the Indian Health Service. It's time that they sign up for health insurance and if they can't get it well they shouldn't have gotten sick in the first place. And insurer's should be allowed to refuse payment to anyone they like. After all it's a free market and they should have invested in real estate! Suckers!

  • I'm a retired physician and I can tell you I am not aware of a single patient I turned away for inability to pay. The issue is that providers lose money, not that patients lose care. So should we try to revamp the system so that everyone receives poor care just so a few can be reimbursed for their efforts, albeit meager? No.

  • I"m aware of a lot of patients who were turned away due to inability to pay, i.e., NO insurance-even if you go to a walk in clinic you have to pay $200 upfront to see a doctor and that does not even include tests and meds. Most doctors REFUSE to see patients unless proof of insurance is provided FIRST --or-- CASH up front. So now people are walking around with diabetes and HTN b/c they can't afford a check up. You call yourself a doctor?? HA! Thank God you are retired-your compassion so great.

  • At least McCain offer an intelligent, respectful dialogue. If he haden't chosen that whack job as his vice pres I prolly woulda voted for him.

  • The Government is a growing Tumor & the illegal privately owned FED Reserve is its blood supply!

The 2008 Social Security and Medicare Trustees Reports show the combined unfunded liability of these two programs has reached $101.7 trillion in today's dollars!

TARP plus debt to illegal privately owned FED Res is 25 trillion

Amount plundered from other Federal Gov trusts: 53 trillion

Every man, woman, child in USA owes $600K in FED Gov debt

Americans have the Government they deserve!

  • I like Sarah Palin-she made me laugh in stitches. She's the epitome all that is stupid in government, and if McCain would have won, we would have been -and deserving so to elect that numb nut--the laughing stock of the world.

  • LOL...he's not bad......Megan is a credit to him at least. If he were pres right now what would he do ALL that dif? I like the fact that he can disagree.....with some class. Obama's gunna have a career when this gig is done.....hope he does as well. BUT.......he's stiill the man :) !

  • Lets just do nothing. survival of the fittest. fuck the weak! only the strong survive.

  • So rob from the rich (people making over $250,000) and give to the poor is the motto for this Administration. Just be honest and agree that as long as there is an even greater redistribution of wealth in this country, then liberals will be happy.

  • If repealing Goerge Bush's failed trickle down "no millionaire left behind" tax breaks is a redistribution of wealth......then so be it.

  • Good, so be it with your pay check (not mine). I'll gladly let you pay for my health care, Thank you.

  • Gimme a Break!

After the Tax Payer bailed out Merrill Lynch, they turned around and gave their executives 3.6 billion in Christmas Bonuses!

AIG awarded $500 million in bonuses to its executives after accepting a $173 billion government bailout

UBS bank was fined 700 million for tax evasion; then Congress gives them 5 billion free tax payer dollars

    102 tril SS & medicare

    25 tril TARP & bailouts

53 to 67 tril from other trusts

Every single American man, woman & child owes over $600K in debt

  • Hey if you're wealthy I applaud you. I think everyone should want to be wealthy. BUT when are wealthy people going to realize that you could NEVER be wealthy without the middle class AND poor buying your products and services?? You telling Bill Gates or Warren Buffets really cares about returning to the Clinton tax rates? Seriously??

  • France has Universal Healthcare: they are #1.

We have private Healthcare: we are #37.

Wait, what was that about universal healthcare, Mr. McCain?

  • Why Not?! Its the only way to drive down costs...McCain is a douchebag who wants to keep the flow of contributions coming in from big pharma.

  • sht the fuck up mccain you are a moron we need reform

  • not the best defined argument put from by proponents of public option but far from the worst either. McCain has class i can give him that over what i can most politicians period

  • wtf is this asshole talking about medicare is run by the government!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

look at other countries ???? wtf like the u.k.

canada, france, cuba. all of them have singal payer or n.h.s. wtf is he talking about!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! he is more off then on

  • McCain has more class in his fingernail clippings than the whole Democratic party has in all their worthless, Socialist carcasses.

Notice he is gracious and respectful in defeat. Democrats turn into traitors to their country when they lose power. Look how disgraceful they acted when Bush was President.

If we started enforcing the laws against treason again, half of them would be in jail, and the other half would be facing a firing squad.

  • LOL wow deja vu... I just had a flashback... now is this guy going to bring some dumbass out on stage???

  • Yeah he's soo cute!!!

  • I don't understand what is wrong with the health care in Canada.Americans getting cured only on what the Insurance companies allow them to.

  • I know!

Why don't they try to take on Britain's health care system?

  • That's not true, ylliberqiri.

I didn't have insurance when I had my abdomen operated on. I had the best doctors and the best Oncologists in the state, and not one person limited my care or testing because of my lack of insurance, or my low income. They ALL worked with me, and as long as I tried to pay something, no matter how little, I got the best care.

Insurance won't always pay, that's when your own responsibility comes into play. Pay for it yourself.

  • Responsibility for accidents? Oh yeah, isnt that what insurance is supposed to be? They dont pay for shit, so why the fuck are you defending them? Medicare has 4% overhead, while private has over 30%. While you may receive top-notch care, private insurers wont pay for it, even if you have insurance. Also, what is the point of paying $11,000 a year on premiums, if you have a $5,000 deductible? Makes no sense, and you, claiming you are uninsured (fuckin liar,) have the nerve to back the aggressor.

  • The sooner you understand that Insurance companies are private companies with the same financial responsibilities as all other companies the better off you will be. You pick your policy, and know what they will and will not pay for up front. If you pick a bad policy, that's not their fault.

Private insurance companies have a high overhead because they EMPLOY thousands of employees. Insurance most certainly would pay for the best care, how much depends on the policy you choose.

  • That's the problem with the healthcare system! Healthcare SHOULD NOT be a for profit business. It only says that Rich people deserve to live. Insurance companies are useless. All these Congressmen on the right against the option and they have government healthcare, but you pay their salaries and you're not worthy of the same? Does that really make sense to you?

  • I don't agree with that at all. Insurance allows for those who would not ordinarily have the money to pay for things like childbirth or surgery to do exactly that. This is America. If you're going to insure a person's health, you have every right to make a profit on it. Does that mean that only the rich deserve to live? No. It means responsible people will understand that their health will get worse, and insurance could help them.

  • Next time your sick and trying to cope I hope you have to argue with those guys about your coverage. I'm sure you'll feel so much better knowing that you're employing so many fine people many of whom are working hard to ensure your not a liability on their profit margin.

  • I'm sure I will. But considering I've been working with those fine people for the past 2 years solid with medical issues that my family has had to deal with, I'm sure they already know of my feelings. ;) Thanks though. I'll be sure to remind them when we talk next.

  • I've spent a lot of time in the UK and I know many people over there some of whom are elderly. It's interesting to note that when they get sick they'll tell you about what they're doing about it. Here in the US your just a likely to hear a litany of complaints and worries about their struggles with insurers about what procedure or drug will be paid for. You say insurers have a "right" to make money. Well, let's have a "right" to decent health care and be rid of this nonsense that costs lives?

  • Insurance is not healthcare, arctos. No one is stopping you or anyone else from GETTING good healthcare in this country. That's one of the best things about America. Our amazing healthcare.

As for those that you know in countries with universal healthcare, I know my fair share also, and have hear the exact opposite of what you're hearing, but these are young people in need of knee and back surgeries and waiting for years to get them.

I would read the bill on the table, if you haven't yet.

  • I'm a former resident of Canada and the only people who wait years for treatment are people who think they know more than their Doctor. If someone needs knee or back surgury and they are 300 lbs over weight they very well might be required to change their lifestyle before surgury.......otherwise its a waiste of money.

  • I'm sorry, but you obviously don't know a vast amount of people. The most recent gal I've spoken to is in no way over weight. She would be hard pressed to be pushing 160 and she's rather tall.

  • I can't argue about what you know or think you know. You say yourself that insurers have the same financial responsibilities as other companies. That's precisely their problem. Unload liabilities and increase profits. When you get sick you become a liability. That's why they've got a CORPORATE BUREAUCRACY to screen you out! If you're old enough you go on Medicare because insurers don't want liabilities called "old people." Guess what, Medicare is a government program and is extremely popular!

  • What your hearing doesn't stand up to scrutiny. Outcomes are generally better in other OECD countries. Life expectancy in the US is comparatively low. Infant mortality here is higher. There are delays in "nonessential" surgeries in Canada that are higher but not statistically much different than the US. There were delays in the UK in the 90s but those have been vastly reduced. Your amazing US health care includes RATIONING on the basis of ability to pay. Pretend it doesn't exist but it does.

  • Secondly, I didn't say I don't have insurance. I clearly said " I didn't have insurance when". Reading comprehension is very important in discussions. I would work on that one if I were you.

You picked that deductible, pal. That's on you. Not the insurance company who needs to earn a profit.

  • As for picking that deductible and "freedom of choice," most Americans actually don't have that choice since it's their employers who pick the plan. You're only left with "the choice" of quitting your job and "shopping" for another one!

  • I have yet to work for a single company that does not have at LEAST 3 options to choose from when it comes to health insurance. You choose your deductible, or co-pay based on the plan you choose. If you do not CHOOSE or start your policy mid-year after open enrollment you must wait until the next open enrollment to change your policy. If you fail to do so that is not the companies fault, but your own. The only thing the company will pick will be the insurance company used.

  • If you're lucky enough to have a job with insurance, you usually get at least 3 increasingly bad choices as employers increase copays and deductibles to reduce their costs. American workers are swamped with astronomical credit card debt just trying to cover copays and deductibles. In the UK you wouldn't even have to think about all this crap. You pick your doctor. You don't like the result you go for a second opinion. Plus you save on deodorant for not having to sweat about bills!

  • Any group plan from your office is better than a private insurance any day, especially if you have a pre-existing condition. It's not the insurance companies fault that you don't take care of your own finances and choose to run up your credit card bills. Just like it's not MY fault or responsibility to to bail you out when you dig such a hole. If you don't want to sweat your bills, don't run them up trying to keep up with the jones's.

  • Keeping up with the jones's? Most people keep their business to themselves especially when they're sick! Pre-existing conditions? You're starting to shoot your own argument full of holes. If "conservative" means "shill for the insurance industry" you're doing a mediocre job at best. Oh, that's right: "pre-existing conditions" aren't the fault of the insurance companies. You shouldn't have gotten sick in the first place! This "system" is barbaric and you know. You work for those guys. Own up!

  • What did you say?: "Insurance allows for those who would not ordinarily have the money to pay for things like childbirth or surgery to do exactly that." Whose supplying those funds? The rest of us who pay for premiums! Sounds like a bailout to me! But watch out. You've got a pre-existing condition and we won't be bailing you out this time. Sorry it's terminal cancer and don't use your credit card because that would be keeping up with the jone's and we can't have that. Give me a break!

  • If you don't LIKE insurance, don't use it. That's one of the cool things about this country that you seem to be glossing over. The right to choose how you pay for your own services. It's just like a bank. You give them money so they may give it to someone else who needs it and charge interest so they may pay you back when you are in need of it. Dude, this is like taking candy from a baby. Please learn something before you start spouting off like you know something about the world.

  • I love insurance and banks! Used to work for them when I was your age. And you'd better love them too! You and Your children will paying off their bailout into the next century! You may have heard about that, Bush had something to do with it. But that's one of the cool things about this country. You get to choose which people rip you off! And next time you"re talking to the IRS tell them you don't feel like paying for the services you don't like. I'm sure they'll understand. Enjoy the candy...

  • And that's the banks and Insurance companies fault? Come on now. You're telling me that if the big old government offered you a boat load of cash, you wouldn't TAKE it? I sure as hell would. Especially if I were in the hole. You're seriously wanting to socialize an entire market, because you don't like that our politicians bailed them out? How is that fair? Be pissed at the government, not the private sector. The government never should have GIVEN them the money.

  • No, I am not proposing socializing an entire market because banks and insurers got bailed out. Pay attention- go back and read what I said. What is so sacrosanct about the private sector? You think they got bailed out because the government are nice guys? The "private sector" are busy buying, "lobbying" excuse me, both political parties so they can write legislation that they benefit from. That's not a "free market." The last 3 presidents have Goldman Sachs execs running the economy!

  • But you're mad at the companies. Sure, they will take what they can get. If our politicians are going to GIVE it, they sure going towill try and GET it. You would too. That's not a problem with our private sector, or a reason to want to revamp the private sector. That's a problem and a need to reform our elected officials. That's the point that you seem to be missing. Our politicians LOVE that we have issue with big business, because that means that we're not pushing reform on their end.

  • I'm not just mad at the companies. I'm mad at the system. You say they will take what they will get. They'll take it from the politicians and they will take if from you if they can get it. Whatever your experience with insurers there are many people (and I mean many) that are having a lousy time and have little power ( and less so when they are sick) to take on corporations. Their is another side to that coin and you may have to deal with that yourself one day. Get real.

  • Oh, side note...I'm not getting notifications of most of your reply's for some reason. So I'm not ignoring you, I just don't know you're replying. ;)

  • Yeah, I'm not getting some of them either. I'm also away from the computer quite a bit so I'm not ignoring you either. Nice video of your kid by the way. Seems like a smart and nice young man. I'm sure it's at least partly due to good parentage.

  • Ha-ha! Thank you. I couldn't resist putting it up. He's so darn bright and funny. ;) I certainly lucked out.

  • Well, if he can make poop seem charming I'm sure he'll go far! And that's not making any allusion to anything else being said here....

  • You're showing your young age, arctos. Keeping up with the jones's means over spending because everyone else is.

ALL group insurance plans cover pre-existing conditions. ALL of them. Look it up.

I'm a stay at home mother ex marketer. No, I do not work for an insurance company. Try again.

  • why do we have to preserve medicare medicaid and social security? Oh, because he was talking to old people.

  • Mccain is a moron.

    Obama is a moron.

  • yeah, fuck Medicare. let's get rid of that too!

  • Old white people. What good have they've really done?

  • we could afford it if the bank's,military, and most of the government, wall street.neo cons, bureaucrat, stop ripping of every one off

  • In a retirement community and talking about government run health care. Hey Mccain, most of that crowd is on Medicare! what is that? Government run health care!

  • Wow. That crowd is perfect for him.

  • im surprised he didnt mention health care for joe the plumber

  • Please - he would get his but kicked again. Or Palin 2012 - doesnt matter. They both suck.

  • I'm sure they do!!!

  • I call Mr. McCain--Mr. Prunes. He needs to eat them to get the shit out of his brains.

  • This is coming from a guy who has been on 'government run' healthcare his entire life.

  • the only current competition with the current American private healthcare system is who can make the most profit, not provide the best quality of care.

  • Poor old guy, thinks he's still running for president... Aww isn't it so cute when old people forget things. God bless his heart.

  • And there is Sarah Palin--Beauty Queen #3. Did you know during an interview he called Sarah Palin his "soul mate." His SOUL MATE! OMG! Now what if his running mate were a GUY would he be calling him his SOUL MATE?? I'm not implying a thing. Just mentioning an observation. Now what did Sarah's husband, the adorable Todd, think of THAT when McCain called his WIFE his SOUL MATE. Enquring minds want to know!!!

  • Oh...yeah...I hate to break it to you, but he's ACTUALLY don't his JOB as a Senator. I know you've become accustom to seeing Obama scrap his Senatorial requirements for 2 years while he ran for president and all, but that is not an acceptable way to draw a tax dollar salary as an elected official. See, you're actually supposed to DO YOUR JOB, like Mr. McCain is doing.

  • Go to the UK, France, Canada or Sweden and ask if they want their system or the US system of health care. Then, go and ask uninsured Americans if they want the current system or any Western European system.

McCain - shame on you for read mongering. You lost my respect. Run in 2012 and get nailed again.

  • Well poor people don't deserve health care. People who actually can afford US health care are happy with it.

  • Eventually the greed value, now prevelent in America, will change to valuing socially responsible use of resources. Reforming health care will help move us in this direction.

  • Why is it greed to work hard, earn a decent living, and provide for your family? Charity begins at home. Since you are in such a giving mood, why don't we tax you 52% of your take gross earnings to pay for my family's health care insurance. Agree?

  • Charity perpetuates problems by recognizing a problem, and then allowing "charity" to take care of it. Charity is a way to deny our mandated responsibilities. It is not greed to work hard, and provide for a family. It is greedy to benefit off of others hardwork, while you sit behind a desk and perpetuate a stifled society for the purpose of luxury. Rich people do not work hard...Poor people work hard, and die poor.

  • That is not greed.

  • AMEN!

  • Shit that man is so old he will be taking Geritol and eating prunes for regularity when 2012 rolls around.

  • John McCain is a very sexy man! You should not talk to him like that! He's a sexy sexy sexy man! We dont need that many doctors in China. Herbal medicine takes care of me, and my sore hip and bad heart is cured with bear bile extract from freshly killed bears!

  • Don't talk about Regan that way :-)

  • why cant we?

  • God these republicans are morons.

  • John McCain is a piece of shit.

  • Maybe he's thinking with his cock like he did when he left his first wife after she had an accident and got disfigured for Miss Arizona Rodeo-Cindy. And her big rich daddy who got McCain into politics. That's beauty Queen #2. Did you know Palin was Miss Wasilla? Oh-I'm not implying a thing-just another coincidence, that's all.

  • We found McCain to be out of touch with the actual working man during the election run. We're seeing more proof here.

The funny thing is, he didn't mention jack shit about healthcare during his run.

  • Yeah he did! He said use Wal-Marts for health care. He really did say that. And something about a $5,000 tax write off for FAMILY-which doesn't help squat b/c private insurance for a family is about $1,000.00 A MONTH premium. HA! That's his solution to health care-NOTHING!!!
