Great blues player...I remember seeing him in 1967 in the Village NYC when he had a band...did Howling Wolfs "Evil" and blew me away. Have seen him dozens of times since in NYC, Atlanta, Tampa & New Orleans...always has that edge and the ability to communicate the blues although he came from a well to do family...he dedicated himself strictly to the blues and traveled city to city for years in a Cadillac convertible when he had just a few axes and that awesome National steel guitar.
