You have to see them LIVE in concert to really, really appreciate this version. I timed it at something like almost 20 minutes when I saw them perform it in Chicago in '06. If you could only see one concert in your life, this would have to be it!! Micheal Hampton's guitar work is just siiiiick!! I thought I saw fire come from the strings he smoked it so hard!! I would borrow money to go see a George Clinton concert! This version just kicks!

No Mike Hampton is not dead. Glenn Goins is dead. He died in the late seventies. He and Big Foot started a group call Quazar before his passing. Here you got Mike Hampton playing the solo near the end. Also on guitar in this clip is Andre Foxxe, and Blackbyrd McKnight. Then there is Boggie Mosson that usually plays guitar off to the far side. But I can't see that far on this one.
