  • lol he said spic-tacular 0:45 LOL just sayin

  • I've found on youtube an old personal letter by Fidel Castro to Hugo Chavez. Somehow it liked out to the public. Someone made a copy and read it's contents on tape. It clearly shows eminent danger to the United States and to Latin America in general. Sorry it's in Spanish. I hope you'll be able to translate some of it. It's read slowly. Really scary stuff. The video is called "Ballesteros lee carta de Fidel Castro a Hugo Chavez"

  • he didnt say armed struggle was over. he said guerilla type of armed struggle is over because it's no match for trained armed forces of imperialism

  • Viva Chavez!! Viva el Socialismo!

  • Viva Chavez!!

  • Chavez is full of shit. Give that fucking gorilla a banana already

  • ignorant fat bovine american

  • jajajaja. what a loser is Chavez. First he was looking for FARC's recognition as a legal force and now he is demonizing them up. What a contradiction? He is just another Stalinist with two faces.

  • i love the media, they pretend they xnow everything

  • el imperio no es tan grande hugo

    se acabo

  • then forest hilton - is that where theyre keeping the prisoners in the jungle?

  • And if the FARC do end up disbanding, it's not because of Chavez's speech. It's because the government of Colombia has been kicking their ass all over the place.

  • The FARC had an opportunity under Pastrana to resolve the conflict peacefully and they rejected it. The only way to get rid of them is to kill them off like Uribe is doing now. The commentators assertion that the "US is not interested in a peaceful solution" is ridiculous. Of course the US is interested in a peaceful solution. But they know that the FARC has already rejected peace. The only way forward now is to defeat them.

  • Excellent analysis!

If your familiar with the history of the US and South America then you would agree. If you are unsure of what we've been up to over there for so many years take a gander at

    freedocumentaries com

    Watch "Plan Colombia"

  • This is a good analysis.

Pepe Escobar + Forrest Hylton = Good combination

  • Better than hot air, fox and friends, Michelle Malkin, and newsbusters. At least there is something to learn here. But it's a good thing to be cautious of everyone.

  • Very good report. Thats all I got to say.

  • Check out "The War on Democracy" by John Pilger. I'm glad Chavez has said to release the hostages. Nobody deserves to be kidnapped. I hope everyone gets released asap.

  • Facts:The United States provides Israel with 7 Billion dollars. Who has a population of about 5 Billion people. Why? Support Israel? The fact is that Britain policy in the middle east where taken over the by the United States. Israel is the Advance Guard of Western interest in the Middle East. Both McCain and Obama continue to advance Western Influence in the region. 30 Billion dollars are going to go to Israel. This is where you money is going to for Imperial objectives.

  • Zionism claims anti-antisemitism but it is self-defeating. Because what it stands for is that Western people will never accept them. The French Jew, Russia Jew, British Jew can't live in the Western world. Israel settled on Palenstian land their where people before on that land. Who became refugees in Arab countries. The truth is that Israel does not control America. America control Israel and it advances America foreign policy. Now Israel has hundreds of Nuclear Arms and on top of that ...

  • America is building a missile shield which will continue to advance America interest in the region. America continues to unfold an arms race in that region and others. They have been training with Western Nations "Operation Cobra" and continue to prepare for more wars in that region. They have sent out a battalion of ships to continue a smoking gun diplomacy. America continues to provoke wars around the world. It uses this fog of humanitarian aid as a cover up. It really is to exploit resources.

  • DSB, there are not 5 Billion people in Israel. I think you meant 5 million.

  • some of the comments here scare me. What's wrong with you people?

  • Revolutionary Movements & States.

Remember the peace movements in the 60s and 70s in america? what happen to them? well, gradually, the manufacturing plants, the agriculture, basically the capital used to fund their efforts was taken away from them by the US govt. These groups resorted to illegal ways to earn funds since the legitmate jobs left.

I feel this has probably happened with the FARC although i have no sources to draw from. just another perpective to consider...

  • Hugo Chavez makes me smile. He is absolutely right. Where elections can be fair, there is no need for violence. Chavez is only stating the facts of the current conditions in South America that elections are prooving to be a viable means for expressing the will of the people. History has proven (for example in Guatamala, Iran and Vietnam in the 1950s, Chili in the 1960s) the USA can only effect its imperial goals by preventing fair elections.

  • He's right, no one ever talks about the right wing paramilitary death squads and cocaine distributors.

  • Chavez is a true hero

  • FARC/ELN will never give up

and like IRA will never be disarmed by the US paid rogues and fascist paramilitaries

    Hasta la victoria

    Viva Che, viva Eileen

  • Good post, I agree.

    No peace without freedom!

    No decomission

    No surrender!

Not a bullet, not an ounce!

    Long live the FARC-EP!

    Long live ETA!

    Long live the Real IRA!

    -Joe

  • Forrest Hylton looks alot like Jimmy kimmel.

  • Chavez for head of the U.N !

  • I would of translated the spanish differently butr really good report. only "cold hard facts" thanls again real news. I like the expert guy.

  • what the farc is this all about?

  • LOL..... I JUST HAD TO LAUGH AT THAT ONE!!

    resist the NWO!!

  • What the frac is farc all about?

  • farc if I know.

  • why dont you youtube -

Michael Ruppert confronts CIA director about Drug Laundering - and see who the real drug dealers are.

  • That's the mantra for the young men with less options other than military of United States by Bush government. The racist, antagonist attitude towards all politically opposed World leaders. =D

  • Good video. Chavez can call upon the south American leaders he bought with V's oil revenue and cheap donated oil, for support, but FARC are not worth the blowback. Beyond the region, Chavez needs all the friends he can get.

  • charlessmyth, are you suggesting Chavez buys friends and the USA doesn't? Chavez is using the oil $ to buy independence from the USA for his friends. By making this move, Chavez is exactly showing how he can get friends beyond the region by relying on diplomacy and doing the right thing and not needing to rely on oil $.

  • Chavez can only hold power if he pays off his domestic & regional supporters, which is only possible at greater than $76 a barrel to make V-crude viable to refine in the US, since the US has the only refineries capable of processing heavy V-crude. Thus, Chavez depends totally on the US for the market price of crude, and any income from his V-crude. FARC are friends he can no longer afford to be associated with financially, or as the motive for Colombia with US support to remove him.

  • Csmyth, I'd like to see you apply your logic to the USA since it applies more to George Bush than to Hugo Chavez. Bush pays off his supproters with corruption that is not equalled any where else. Halliburton and all the other no-bid contracts, the military contracts, the Dept. of Homeland security contracts, the raise in oil prices giving all-time profits to Bush's oil company friends.

  • There is no dispute about the less than virtuous behaviour of the US. However, the video was about Hugo Chavez who is lionised by too many who should be directing their efforts into getting the US back to returning the US Congress to its constitutional position of authority over the President. Having achieved this, the US would cease to be the international problem it has become, and firms such as Haliburton would be out of the picture vis-à-vis no bid contracts, etc.

  • You jealous?

  • what the fuck are you talknig about your ignorance is imence you just throwing shit out there as if you were some kind of an expert. all you are doingis makiung yourself seem ridiculous
