Damnit, General Scales deserved a decent boss fight. He looked so badass in this scene, I kept imagining what the final boss with him would be like the entire game. He didn't even have a regular boss fight.

I'm sure they had at least some initial plans for it, or maybe not since I would expect them to leave it in prior to the Andross fight. Either way I'll go grab some torches and pitchforks.

"Also, a language called Dino (later known as Saurian) is used in concept similar to that of the Al Bhed language in Square Co.'s Final Fantasy X, except that the letter Y is used only in proper nouns."

Well, according to Cube magazine, they created the language by themselves and have a booklet filled with words and phrases. You'll notice that it's not random words over and over again because 'the' is always pronounced as 'kao' and 'my girl' is always pronounced as 'mow wakk'.
