Pedophilia is completely wrong, the child's innocence is being snatched away and they can't give consent. There aren't any parallels between that and a loving, consenting relationship between two people who happen to be the same sex.

i once thought exactly like you regarding child molesters/pedophiles, until recently when i had a change of heart. i think saying the mentally ill should 'burn in hell' is taking it a step too far, no?

i'm certainly not defending these people in any shape or form but life isn't black and white.

we handle things in different ways and you'll find the majority of these people have had a traumatic experience happen to them in the past.

we just need to give out harsher punishments

@Cla900 I guess you're right in some aspects...the mentally ill don't have full control over themselves, but nobody wakes up one day and says "I think I like kids now." You know? It must be a slow process and I have nothing but pity for people who have mental illnesses. But I can't pity people who act on them, even if they're sick, some must have realised what they were feeling was wrong and they should seek help. If they realised and didn't seek help, I have no pity.

Thanks for this. Alan Carr is brilliant. We don't get him in Australia, unfortunately. I found him via Youtube and have been hooked ever since. I also love the fact celebrities from other channels can appear on other channels in England (if you know what I mean). Here in Australia, a Channel 7 personality can't appear on Channel 10, for example. The stations over here treat their audiences like idiots and pretend the other channels don't exist.
