I like the idea of more recoil on regular guns. Or in fact just adding Idle sway into the game again for all guns and not just snipers. I can see how Snipers in MW2 are crazy but you still needed to be good cause you would die incredibly fast on that game. Un patched (you can see this in zombies) in Black ops probably is the new standard of how snipers should be though, assuming you have MW or MW2 hit detection. For viable shot guns, akimbo Model 1887? It just happened to be the best Shotgun.
Good point with having more recoil on guns, but look a the Uzi, that gun is terrible, even with a stock, so what would you do with a gun like that or any gun like it?

They aren't going to make the guns difficult (at least in the regular game). The reason being they don't want to alienate the 80% of people who only play it casually. They would rather piss off the hardcore market and still make a zillion dollars then cater to the hardcore and lose the casual crowd.

I think thats a great idea man. I want a great gun from each class (sniper, semi-autos, shotguns,etc.) I love using shotguns but in black ops if they aren't within five feet you don't kill them. Now granted you can't make them realistic because it could kill in one shot from 50 yards.lol. but still. I want them to make the shotguns better.
when you reload the bullets u in ur magazine that u havent use dissapear so it will always be a 30 bullet reload instead of lik if you had 10 bullets left and it reloaded 20 bullets. It should be that those 10 unused bullets dissapear and it reloads back 30.
Not claiming to know anything about guns in real life, but I think it would be nice to be able to customize them in more meaningful ways than camo. For example, make it possible for the M16 to be semi-automatic or automatic instead of stuck with burst. Or saw-off your own shotgun. It could probably go under attachments and keep the point system to unlock. I'm sure there are countless ways to make a weapon more deadly that would encourage different styles of play, not just using "try hard" guns.
Ernie, try playing CS for guns that are hard to use. I just started playing it, and it is ridiculous the learning curve to work out the recoil control, I am getting my ass handed to me. It's fun to have such a challenge after being able to do whatever I want in CoD

Ernie how do you find lobbies where people move around I literally can't find a lobby with atleast 4 people camping out of 6. Every killcam is just them ADS are a point the whole match completely still.

This will eliminate corner camping a doorway and wait on their prey. I played ground war domination today and 5 of my teammates were camping in the back of the map and there was just two of us trying to catch B flag. Needless to say we got hammered. Thumps up if you like this idea!
@ffbranch Endless flaws with your plan. What if you're not corner camping? For goodness sakes, capping a flag would be a hazard. Or what if you're just trying to watch a bomb site, or a choke point? Not everyone who stays still is a camper.

I actually love the Unlocking System of BO. If you take that away, you can take the whole leveling up away and thats one of the main reasons, why CoD was and still is awesome. I love leveling up and go through the prestiges...
The thing with the reality is totally true. In BO most of the guns feel just the same..

Love the long range tomahawks... I would disagree and say the guns should be easy to use rather than hard.. Mw2 for example ha very low recoil with some guns (tar,scar,ump, acr) which made the game easier to play and more fun.
Eh. I dunno. MW2 had the most accurate and deadly guns and the most accurate hitboxes and ended up being my favorite Cod.
Games with accurate weapons aren't necessarily "easier" because this increased ease of use applies for your enemies as well.
I will say that the MW2 system was more punishing towards aggressive play. It's hard to run around out in the open when everyone can waste you from across the map.
I suppose tons of recoil and shitty hitboxes is good for discouraging camping.
I really like your videos keep up the great vids and I believe that a cool idea that could be put into MW3 would be points toward your characters abilities.Such as If you make your character fatter he takes more shots to die, but is slower and if he's skinny he would move faster but die quicker
For guns, i want attachments that make sense on the guns and are similar to their real life counter parts. Ex. Why would you put an ACOG scope on an MP5k or have an M60 with IR scope. And in real life you can't have a silencer on an AK47.
Also i want each gun to have a different feel to it so you will have have to learn to adapt to recoil and rate of fire.

I think what you were talking about in terms of recoil is what they did for Black Ops. Look at COD 4, W@W and MW2. Rarely were there AR's with heavy recoil. The F2000 had recoil similar to the Enfield, a relatively low-recoil gun in Blops, and the TAR-21 is similar to the Commando, Galil and AK-47 in its recoil profile, all considered low recoil guns. The gulf between good and bad players has been widened, you just haven't noticed it. The lack of Stopping Power contributed as well.
First, the Famas and AUG take 0.128 seconds to kill. All other fully auto AR's take 0.16 (assuming there is no lag, all bullets hit and is at close-mid range). That's a difference of 0.032 seconds. Now, the Enfield has a 0.05 seconds faster ADS speed. That's irrelevant you say? Well then so is the extra 0.032 seconds that the Famas and AUG have over it. The Famas and AUG both actually have quite a lot of kick too. Apparently it's different on PS3, but I play Xbox. Regardless, lag plays a far gr

I really like your videos keep up the great vids and I believe that a cool idea that could be put into MW3 would be points toward your characters abilities.Such as If you make your character fatter he takes more shots to die, but is slower and if he's skinny he would move faster but die quicker

For guns, i want attachments that make sense on the guns and are similar to their real life counter parts. Ex. Why would you put an ACOG scope on an MP5k or have an M60 with IR scope. And in real life you can't have a silencer on an AK47.
Also i want each gun to have a different feel to it so you will have have to learn to adapt to recoil and rate of fire.

agree about the guns, its much more satisfying to get kills with something thats not used by everyone or that someone sees in the killfeed and says "i got killed by what?!"

not to be a jerk but CoD has always been a cheap game meant for more casual gamers and the way that it will sell is to make guns easy to use and good across the board....if you want a to have skill make an impact on gameplay and guns and equipment go play Halo

I think what you were talking about in terms of recoil is what they did for Black Ops. Look at COD 4, W@W and MW2. Rarely were there AR's with heavy recoil. The F2000 had recoil similar to the Enfield, a relatively low-recoil gun in Blops, and the TAR-21 is similar to the Commando, Galil and AK-47 in its recoil profile, all considered low recoil guns. The gulf between good and bad players has been widened, you just haven't noticed it. The lack of Stopping Power contributed as well.

First, the Famas and AUG take 0.128 seconds to kill. All other fully auto AR's take 0.16 (assuming there is no lag, all bullets hit and is at close-mid range). That's a difference of 0.032 seconds. Now, the Enfield has a 0.05 seconds faster ADS speed. That's irrelevant you say? Well then so is the extra 0.032 seconds that the Famas and AUG have over it. The Famas and AUG both actually have quite a lot of kick too. Apparently it's different on PS3, but I play Xbox. Regardless, lag plays a far gr

i felt like MW2 was appealing to those who had never played COD because there was so much noob sh*t built into that game. Being that MW3 is made by the same people, I doubt they'll up the difficulty for using guns. I wish they would, but I doubt it happens :/
