Old Spice does the same, but seems to balance its focus between men and women. If you saw one company trying to take the position of the other, they'd be in trouble, because a brand is identity as well. Axe is young straight and single. Old Spice has become increasingly spouse focused "The man YOUR man could smell like". Don't hate the players; hate the game.
