Wrong! Bad tree huggers. Peak Oil is a myth. The planet is constantly making oil just like it makes other resources. The Earth will run out of environmental wackos before it runs out of oil.

Peak Oil does exist, you cannot logically deny it. It is a non-renewable resource. So it will run out, each oil well will have it's own bell curve on it's production.

Now is the world at a point where oil is rare so the price should be high. That is unknown (at least to the public, oil companies know though). I do not doubt that oil industry does similar things that the diamond industry for prices.

But we must find better methods for energy, renewable & cleaner.
