I only got one shot of the Double Thunder on 17 April because I was on-board crew working the job that day.... was fantastic to see our yellow carriages back out on the line again! Nothing better than screaming down the country with the window wide open and the wind blowing in your face!!!
@saltydog45 yea and if you get the chance find a read books about ex-NZR drivers cause there is some amazing stuff in there. And to think that its only going about 80km/h (stupid limitation)
