Thanks Beast11222 for the comment and viewing. I too LOVE this plane. It handles so well. In fact, last weekend I performed an inverted 2 foot off the ground slow fly-by, right in front of us, over the road we were standing on. She handled it easy.
The ground camera I used when I made this vid sucked. I have since upgraded to nice new JVC HardDrive Digital Cam. The onboard camera though is sweet! Its a FLYCAMONE2. I got mine from Hobby-Lobby com.
You can Use a DX6i as many of my wingmen use it. I however, use a DX7 with a AR7000 Receiver only because I fly choppers and need 7 channels. This T28 in this video is running a thunderPower Battery at 2300Mah, and I installed Flaps just to add a bit of Slow flytime on it. I also modified it to have a pop open canopy that can be open and shut. I drop a GI-JOE Parachute guy out of the cockpit when I roll inverted. If I aint Workin, Im Flyin! <-- Hope my wife doesnt read that.
great video. i was wondering whether or not i should get one of these. i have the supercub and have mastered it. i can do loops and sharp turns. i am looking into getting one of these but i dont know if this is a good plane for intermediate flyers...is it??? -thank you
IMHO.... You just cant beat the price for this quality of plane. Its a SUPER step up from the Cub. For $250 Not only do you get the plane with a decent radio, but you get a $60 Lipo battery and $30 Charger. This brings the plane cost down to $160. About the same as the cub. And if you havent already, its really easy to change the Super Cub over to the Lipo batteries. Huge difference in performance. T-28 is HIGHLY recommended. A++++ plane. I love mine!
alright, thank you so much. does it fly well on lower speeds because I would probably start off with it on low speeds so i don't crash it. and is it hard to land because I do quite good on simulators... but is it the same in real world??
It's not exactly a Slow Plane. It does alright somewhat slow, but nothing like the SuperCub does slow. With it's low thin wing, it needs some airspeed to keep in the air. I do find I need much more landing strip to land as the airspeed coming in is higher, and when it lands, it rolls and rolls and rolls. Every attempt to land in grass or soft dirt results in bad landings. Pavement or Hard Dirt is best for landing strips. Its a great up step from the Cub.
Hi, great video. Is the cam mounted on the wing, if so did you have to adjust the other side for the weight difference? I have the same cam and plane!
PiP should be the other way round

I mount the camera under the wing with Heavy Duty Velcro from Home Depot. The camera is so light that I really notice no effect from it.
