If you were to color a drawing you did with pencil, would you outline with pen or black marker? Or would you leave the drawing in just pencil? Because I have some cheap, standard, thin markers that can be used. But is it alright to use them for this type of project?

I use marker because it turns out better. Pen has a purple shine to it, so I don't like using it, especially if I do well with it. Anyway.. I use extremely cheap markers. Ones from the dollarstore, and they work AMAZINGLY well. Trust me, if you want an example of what I draw, I can show you in a message.

I'm only here because I can't color very well, and all I have on me are extremely cheap markers that I don't trust...

@JaSdark666 Yes, you want to use a thick / harder paper that will not soak up all of your markers. I use cardstock or Bristol. Hope that helps.

@noodlerooster hmm I'm not sure exactly what colors I used for the skin but I believe the markers run a couple dollars each ^^.

@Geminiguy13 I used 3 colors on the skin - the lightest first, then the middle, then back over that with the lighter one to blend. And a third darkest color for really dark areas. C:

I normally put markers down then shade on top with pencils, but this has made me really want to do a markers only picture. =) It was fun watching you work!
