I fully expected conservatives to respond. I didn't, however, predict the ironic foot-shooting hilarity of raising the issue of "maturity" while calling others "tits" and the use of "partisan" as a pejorative while claiming that the liberal party has never cared about the working poor.
That kind of self-defeating stupidity can neither be bought nor anticipated. Thank you for supplying it!
Of course you don't. You're the kind of partisan who "doesn't see" Harper breaking his own fixed-date election laws, which illustrates just how irrelevant "what you see" is.
The question was designed to keep him accountable, and his party's efforts to avoid accountability have become an ongoing joke, punctuated by the kind of "I don't see" partisan myopia you've shown.
You're too partisan to see anything objectively and with the maturity one would expect from a Canadian adult.
There has been no accountability avoidance you tit, because we're in a minority Parliament. Anytime the other parties feel they can do better than the Conservatives they can pull the plug, or make Parliament dysfunctional...
Oh wait! The opposition tried those and Canadians gave the Conservatives a STRONGER gvt!
Given Harper's penchant for wrapping things around his neck, the opposition parties seem content at this point to feed his government rope. There's wisdom in this strategy, evidenced by the way it drives partisans like you to post things like the above.
Please continue to post "maturity" criticism while (repeatedly)calling others "tits. The ironic hilarity of it is absolutely priceless.
I agree that I'm not "mature" enough to be advancing non sequiturs and calling complete strangers "tits" via the internet. I do hope to reach that level of "maturity" some day.
The fact that a minority government exists says very little about the accountability of the governing party. Minority governments often exploit public opposition to being called back to the polls.
This just in: People will go through hard times in a recession. Its not up to the government to hold everyone's hand, if people didn't have the forsight to have some savings stashed away its their own fault.
They should be looking to family and friends for help or gasp, lower their expectations and deal with the situation instead of expecting handouts like they country owes them a middle class lifestyle or something.
This just in: Lack of sufficient safety and security encourage people to put their money in a sock at home and contributes to lower investment and spending, higher crime and poverty rates, and greater economic instability.
Your conservative "tough-luck" nonsense has shown itself to be wrong again and again. Time to put Rand's fiction and Friedman's gospels back on the bookshelf and start looking at reality.
Typical Lib thinking, you can grow an economy by borrowing. That's only sustainable for so long.
As for higher crime, poverty, and economic instability, there is absolutely no proof of that.. The only reason it might be stable under socialism is because it will be stagnant, at least until it collapses like the USSR.
Why don't you move to Venezuala if you hate capitalism so much? Sorry, I couldn't think of a better country with socialism.
Yeah, let's pay people to not work. Bass-awkwards dummies.

I don't see the PM running from anything. The question was designed to make him look bad and he refused to fall into the trap.
What is so hard to understand about that? It's not as if the liberals have ever cared about the working poor, so why the partisanship?

When you start off posting bullshit - and you did - you can't expect anything but derision in return.
You're too partisan to be credible, and I wonder if you're one of Cherniak's rabid little "paid-to-post" tools.

I heard Harper on a Calgary radio talk show and he stated about unemploymen t" we don't want to pay people not to work"
What do we pay him for?
