The statue looks too cartoony, and just plain ugly. One occasion where a T-Rex is not scary. I'm really not seeing how it is worth spending 100+$ for this set.

I plan on getting it but I'm DEFINITELY repainting the T.rex. Who was in charge of choosing the paint scheme for this thing? A four year old? That green and purple is hideous. Should have painted it to make it resemble the paint scheme from the movie.

Or maybe I'll make my own. My hobby skills are sharp enough :)

A LOT of people on amazon are leaving negative reviews/feed back, they say that the transfer is horrible...can anyone confirm or give me there opinion on the actual quality, transfer, etc??

@jumpman10037 Yes the movie has a lot of grain, visible DNR. Its not a good transfer after all. Unfortunately this does not look "remastered" to me..

wow pathetic,an awfull sculpt of the trex that doesnt even resemble the movie version,i've seen 7 bucks toys look better,and certificate of authenticity ? more like of fool. (no personal offense meant). i prefer the uk tin box, has the theme of the movie,and comes with lots of extras as well. thats the version i'm gonna get. thanks for the review,ill be skiping this "limited" turd.

im not to excited about the statue because ive seen better detailer statues of the jurassic park t-rex on sale but its a cool thing accompany the dvd case,just like the dark knight blu ray special edition with the bat pod . that was well done .

@quietstorm10000 did you see revoltech lost world t-rex ? its a toy,and much better sculped than this,they should bundled that instead, what an oversigh,as the toy was released only months prior to the bluray,so it was on the schedule.
