I have downloaded this VN however the language is off a bit :)) at least the story subtitles. probably the encoding went off a bit. anyone knows about how to get the language back to japanese post a reply or a mail please. thank you :)
The manu has no problems, it's in japanese however it bugs me that i cant read the subtitles too :)).
@jonrskitlez Actually, it's more like a side story. Tomoyo is a side-character, but this game gives an in depth story if you end up with her as your partner.
@Se1sai Well, when they made this all-ages version, they brought in the actor who plays Tomoya in the "Clannad" anime series to voice him here.
Most of the time, visual novel heroes aren't voiced because you, the player, are supposed to feel like you are in the hero's shoes, and giving the hero a voice wouldn't help you imagine yourself as the character. But thanks to the anime, we know Tomoya's distinctive voice, so bringing in his actor to voice him makes it feel more like a "Clannad" story.
@Filiummundo in the anime, tomoyo is voiced by Houko Kuwashima, whereas in the game its by Hikaru Isshiki, since tomoyo after is a H game, not all seiyuus are comfortable with doing the voices.
@garcon45 Holy shit, I noticed that too. They didn't give him a voice in the VN. It didn't bother me at all, but this will take some getting used to. I wish I could find this in English somewhere.
