Secondly, foam like the stuff used in the video is useless compared to Owens Corning 703 or 705, and OC 703/705 most likely will cost less than the foam used in the video.
I am always glad to see people interested in studios and acoustics. I want to comment for anyone that sees this and wants to do the same. First of all, velcro with an adhesive backing would be much quicker than nails, and it won't leave a hole in the wall. It might strip some finish off, but that's really no worse than a hole.
