that being said blackwings are awesome,theyre more controllable than ls but lack the flexibility as much.this can be said about any deck but 'with the right hand' you can swarm the field faster than ls and overpower them. i do get a little annoyed about ls decks having such an annoying card as judgement dragon...

notice how Blackwings are weak..they have one surch in the first couple turns, and then they die out.

Hence why Blackwings will never win anything (like a SJC etc..)

dont know what blackwing deck your running but blackwing decks are like lightsworns in the sense that they have to swarm the field and then beat down on the opponent with raw power in the first couple turns. lightsworn loses power after the first 5 turns as well. blackwings can last longer because they are more control based beatdown instead of just raw power.

LS have Judgment Dragon, Necro Gardna, and Draw/Search Power. Although Blackwings have Allure and Whirlind, Charge and Recharge are much better to the type. BW also doesnt have Celestia, or even Lumina.

To me Blackwings will have a little more success then Six Samuris, then get forgotten about.

my friend is playing Blackwings, we played 6 games and Aliens beat them 4 out of the 6. He played 3 sirrco, no elphins, 3 shura, ,and the same otherwise. It was a normal Bw deck except with a teched Mind Control and Dark Creator.......yet it loses to a not even ranked Alien deck??

Aliens are underrated right now. BW is a deck geared to playing against all the other high tiered decks. With a side deck, aliens will not win against BW. Maybe your friend is bad. he shouldn't be playing dark creator, it's awful

Of course he can activate Honest's effect. some of you people need to learn how to play...

1.'Battle Phase'.

2.Guy on right attacks

3. Guy on left activates 'Beckoning Light' in response to the attack. Discards three cards and gets back 1 JD and two Honests.

4. The guy on the right is still attacking.

5. Enters the 'Damage Step' where you can activate cards that increase your attack power. So the guy on the left can activate Honest's effect since Honest can be activated during the 'Damage Step'.

yeah but still with full extra deck with like 2 armor masters 1 dark strike 1 armed wing and then like 3 solemns main decked and allures in blackwings it's still under 400 while lightsworn when it has everything including ccv 2 jds 3 honest 3 charge psz and full extra deck is around a thousand so I think blackwings are better for how much they cost
