same as normal you just have to wipe the piercing with a cotton swab or corner of a tissure, it just is sensitive after it's first done so people get wary

clamps would have been a good idea though. really. the septum piercing is probably one of the most difficult to get right the first time. i had to get mine done three times before it came out straight. i do have a question though. is it recommended to use a tapered tube to gauge it, or can you just force a pincher through to go down sizes?

well, this was just a piercing with a ten gauge hollow point.

gauging the piercing up a size or two comes down to your discretion. pinchers, in my experience with my ears, were hell.

i'd go with steel straight tapers, preferrably with a recess at the large end to chase with your desired jewelry.

i did mean to stress that the guy who pierced my nose was a fellow artist, not the resident piercer, and i had to convince him to do it.

and, honestly, excepting that i had a cold, the piercing healed quickly and evenly in my nose. this was permitted by the three minutes of marking and aligning that i cut out of the video.
