  • the audio enhanced video of this same song is really good. look it up here on youtube.

  • Robert Plant voice is hot.

  • i remember that gig. i was standing pretty much where the guy with the camera was. the bass was so strong that my t-shirt was vibrating. good times!

  • Their Drummer Is Sick.

  • @themeparkfan

Justin beiber: god sent me to earth to make music

jimmy page and robert plant: we dont remember sending you

  • Man! I pay $1.000,00 on the God Damn ticket to see this guys Playing! But not even for a FUCKING FREE ticket I go to see Justin Bitcher

  • when is going on on dvd ffs

  • you sir are a lucky bastard

  • as much as robert plant said that he didnt want to be involved in a zep reunion, you just KNOW he was over the moon that night playing rock and roll, black dog, all the fucking classics with the old boys one last time.

  • This is heavy as shit!

  • Is there already an available DVD of this gig?

  • WHO THE F*** DISLIKED THIS VIDEO

  • @maxjlan Teenage Bieber fans.

  • Zeppelin is still the best band in the world.

No matter what they say.........no matther what they call us

  • so much rock nearly broke the camera

  • I MET ROBERT PLANT AT HEATHROW OH YEAHHH! RATE IF U WISH U DID!!!!!!:DDDDDD

  • Robert's voice is still amazing!

  • Folks, Robert sang in the original key just weeks before this show... So they changed the key for the hell of it lol.

  • Hmm. Its in the key of G rather than A. Maybe Robert could'nt sing that high. I'm not complaining though.

  • @oldmanwindsor can't blame him

    he's gone older now

its harder to sing high for him now :(

    he tried though

  • To bad about John though...

  • Outro hino do Rock'N'Roll, feito pelo Led Zeppelin. Isso sim, é rock de verdade.

  • que diferencia a ozzy osbourne, ozzy aun tiene la misma voz o mejor y se oye super pesado.

  • jajaj this guys keep rocking no matter the age, no matter anything hell yeah!!

  • also, listen to the live version from 1973. he never sung "Oh Yeah...oh yeah...AH, AH, A-Ah!" live, so this is actually a normal sounding rendition for him. he does that so he can come in on key on the next verse, nothing wierd about that. like i said, hes allways sung it like that. =p

  • Yeah, but that's Jason Bonham(John's son)isn't it?Page sounds like his old self again too....not the Heroin saturated mess,YaY! Sooo Good!!

  • i love this sound it sounds like the camera speaker is exploding and that the stage is just gonna fall apart cuz of how loud their playing haha

  • jason bonham is the next john no one else cant replaced john

  • Its good but Jimmy Page has lost a lot of showmanship that he used to have since his last shows with Page-Plant

  • I've pretty much accepted the fact that this is NEVER coming out on DVD. Why bother filming it, Jimmy?

  • yeah dude my seats werent that good but i was there and i did get a good view of page and his gear which was a learning expirience, jason is john but he still can hold his own well enough in my opinion

  • JASON IS RIPPING IT UP!!

    Amazing performance! Beats everything.

  • funny to see how JPJ, who lived a different lifestyle than the other 3 looks much more younger than them

  • well, 2 others... john bonham is dead

  • yeah I know that, when he was alive he had a different lifestyle of JPJ, thats what I meant.

  • Short hair and genetics...Jimmy and Robert look fantastic and sound as good as ever! Hope they release this concert some day.

  • @nicosfi robert still looks pretty good. only thing that makes pagey look old is the white hair, his face is full of life and so are his fingers

  • @nicosfi uhh only 2 of the other 3 are there brainiac....shows how much you know...and how are they supposed to look like they did in their 20's when they're 60?

  • @clinthale2003 I think you're the brainiac here, I said he lived a different lifestyle than the other 3 band members, not necessarily that Bonham is alive.

  • @nicosfi LOL!It's true

  • Plant's aging voice is great compared to Hetfield's aged voice.. i know theyre two different genres but still...

  • Yeah, but i dont think hetfield's alteration has him changing his style this dramatically. It isnt robert plants fault though. What made Zep so amazing (at least on the vocal side) was the fact that it was an audio embodiment of youth. His voice was at the best it could be and he pushed it to the limit even then. Same thing happened with Roger Daltrey

  • Nah, plant can still hit the high notes. he just prefers lower vocals nowadays =p

  • @beatles123 Genious!

  • DUDES i once read...

when this kind of singers gainage

they only gain strength dramatic tone, and range...

    they dont lose shit

    they dont lose anything!...

    they are strong as shit

i swear to good i once learnt that from somewhere

  • I´m so fuking jelous that you got to be there...so fucking great sits!!

  • Plant might have lost a little bit of his voice because of his age, but first I don´t think it is very much and he still is lightyears better than so many others on this planet. Saw him live in 2005 and I will never forget this. This voice is unique!

  • Plant is resigned to the fact that his vocal range is not what it once was so he is taking a different approach to the vocal and singing in a different key. He is limited but knows it and uses what he still has. Lil' bonzo does sound good, real good. rumour that chris cornell is gonna replace plant on a new tour. He might be able to still hit some of those notes, but obviously there's no one that can replace the original.

  • NOT. BTW why do people compare plant, who is now 61 to what he did when he was 19. guys get over the fact that zep will not reunite, and plant has moved on to what he wants to do. THE WHOLE POINT OF ZEP WAS TO NOT REHASH THE SAME SHAT! Plant is following that philosophy. AND PLANT IS STILL DA MAN! at least he is not a sellout like Jagger and Tyler-

  • good point. but people compare him now to 19 because HE STILL SINGS. it's probably unfair, but tyler can still hit notes that he could when he was 19. jagger is a complete sellout agreed.

  • thats just rumours

  • Hellya " - lil Bonzo " did a good job. He got the power like his dad had, but not the creativity

  • Plant seems to be kinda half assed into this show, its too bad, Led Zep is awesome!

  • LOL the end was funny cus page, jones, and plant just go O.o yep thats bonzo junior. XD the stare, that playing would make john smile like crazy, he would be proud of Jason

  • cant they just tour one more time :(

  • FOCKINNNNG ROCKS!!!!

  • to bad they wont be touring.

  • kiss are a bunch of clowns and led zep will outlive their little sorry asses

  • @yavork1996 not true.

KISS and Led Zeppelin are both legends.

Music wouldn't be the same without any of them.

  • @yavork1996 but even that they're clowns, they make good music, i'm a big fan of kiss but i must say i was made for loving you...wel...its a shame XD

  • @yavork1996 Kiss are just another hair metal 80s band. Led Zeppelin are a revolution

  • funny how all zep fans have an excuse for everything !!!!!

them crook vultures..hahahaha never herd of em..i guess they will be another club act pfffttt

  • yeh that doesnt mean 20 million people tried..it ment 20 million hits..wich means around thousands people attemted to buy tix about 100 times each..lol typical zep fan cant do math pppffttt lol..people get excited when they hear facts but get shutdown when the truth comes out lol...if they are so great why arnt they touring now...huh were are they...were are the mighty zep...at there retirement homes counting there money from there ONE AND ONLY SHOW HAHAHAHAHAHA they sucked u all in

  • where do u get the shit that "a few thousand' tried to buy tickets "100 times each"

Do you seriously believe that out of 20 MILLION people only a few thousand were there to buy tickets? Please.

  • I'll tell you where the mighty Zep are.

Jimmy Page is out going to the Premiers of the new critically acclaimed guitar film he's in, documenting on how he is "The Greatest Guitarist Of A Generation, If Not All Time"

John Paul Jones is touring with his new supergroup called "Them Crooked Vultures", which is about to conquer the rock world.

Robert Plant is racking up more Grammys and other awards for his album with Alison Craus

And the great John Bonham is in heaven RIP

    So fuck you! Idiot!

  • well put =)

  • twat

  • oh,, and zepplin disbanded cause baunham died who is not replaceable because he was one of the best drummers in the world. which is quite a good excuse. Zepplin also didnt dress up like a bunch of circus clowns

  • dude fuck you because you want to sit there and say ur a zeppelin fan hen you dont know how to spell bonham! not baunham! zep lives u need to learn more

  • no fuck you for being a dumb ass cuz i was supporting zep and zep lives on in there music not as a band nowadays ... figure it out

  • oh and u chirp me for a minor spelling error when u cant even spell WHEN right ... ur just another kid who wishes he could be page

  • hey mammo since ur such a moron ... watch kiss' best concert when they were young then watch zepplin at madison square garden in 73 then talk crap about zepplin

  • Extraordinario!!!

  • Man a couple of more rows and this person could touch Robert Plant !

  • Haha I was holding on to the barrier, blame the giant photo pit with all the video equip

  • i dont mean to start a fight...but led zeppelin had 200,000,000 people try to attend but there were 18,000 tickets

so i think led as attendance records

  • and they had to quit because bonzo died

    the band lost its drummer

  • They dodn't have to quit

They could've easily found a willing drummer to tour with them ,

they just mutually agreed that it wouldn't be right to go on with their lost friend / drummer . And disbanded

    :) just throwing that in

  • well that whats iam saying when i said

the band losts it drummer....its like losing page or plant its not led zeppelin

  • Comment removed

  • Kiss? I'm sorry, but those guys are just a bunch of crap.

Without fireworks, they would be begging for coins atbar doors.

  • as a true led zep fan here, Fuck you. zep was much better live than in studio.

  • you stupid fuck i h8 u zep was 100x better in studio

  • Comment removed

  • Hey u, FUCK OFF!!!!

Kiss is only famous because they had facepaint, dressed all shiney, sold actoin figures, lip gloss and other mechandising shit, they dont play good music, as for ACDC, angus young is good guitarist, brian johnson SHIT singer.

  • They werent action figures they were KISS DOLLS! lol

  • Yea man AC/DC died with Bon Scott however Zeppelin are Gods they are the best always have been always will be!!

  • i would have done anything to be at that concert.

  • Tsukikuroi, you know what you are talking about. I was trained classically to sing from an early age. Luckily, i had a open minded tutor, he took me to the Albert Hall in london to see Led Zep when i was 10 years old. I subsequently saw them at Earls Court 5 years later and also at Knebworth. I also have the original rehearsal tapes for the Earls Court shows, but thats another story. I digress.

To return to the subject. he may not be able to hit the high notes anymore, big deal, passion counts.

  • my moms friend in high school dated robert plant but it didnt really work because she had to go back to chicago to her home but they dated for around a year i freaked out 1s i heard that story i cant beileve my mom met robert plant the greatest singer ever known

  • Paige's playing hasn't changed a bit. He's still got it.

  • i ♥ Jimmy Page

  • Jimmy Page still has it!

  • he nvr lost it

  • Damn! Every time that kid hits the bass drum the camera totally overdrives!! Hahahaha, those things are monstrous!

  • This was all professionally shot and recorded yet they are sitting on it rather than sell the dvd. And Plant won't tour. What's going on?

  • Does anyone knows when is going to appears the DVD of this concert?

  • Now, don't get me wrong here guys, I am the biggest Zep fan in HISTORY, but sometimes Plants NEW voice pisses me off a bit.

And it's not that he sounds terrible, it's just that Page, Jones, and Bonham sound FUCKING AWESOME here. It's obvious that Jimmy Page has been practicing and getting his guitar form up to his old early 70s self and I just don't want his playing to be downgraded by inferior vocals.

  • your right, but you have consider his voice has probably changed quite a bit since his early days : (

  • Yeah, ofcourse it did. Plant sounded amazing in their early days.

  • Back in the 60's and 70's he had a lot more resonance with his chest but since then he mixes a lot more which is typical with singers as they age...

Even singers like Whitney Houston who have great technique now have trouble reaching notes that when she was younger were easier for her.

People act like because Robert had so much talent, singing was miraculously easy for him. Singing is damn difficult and there is nothing inferior about his vocals.

  • Well said, just listen to the first 3 albums, never will their likes walk this earth again. They changed the face of modern music. Beales, yea, Stones, yea, but Zep changed everything. Get a good book on them. Beatles and Stones got 40% of takings, Zep told the promoters to stick it right up! They took 95%, pure class! Mafia tried to protect their venues, Zep roadies soon saw them off, laughable.

  • No. I am. I think part of being the biggest fan is being able to honestly identify their strengths and weaknesses.

  • I'm pretty choked that there is no decent video of this concert. it's pretty amazing, Jimmy hasn't lot any of the original talent!

  • You can please some of the people some of the time but you can't please all of the people all of the time!Everybodys a critic! These guys been critizied from day one and will still be 100 years from now! But all I know is they wrote some of the most memorable music in history. And there ain't no damn thing any cirtic can do or say about that!!

  • Robert is not hitting the same high notes however, he's changed the melody a bit to sing more comfortably, I guess its hard to hit those high notes... Geddy Lee sometimes can't hit those high notes these days either so he changes the melody a bit... does it bother me? No.. but I really want to hear the same notes cause those high parts rule!....

  • You are a DISRESPECTFUL IDIOT & need to be put out of your MISERY!!!

  • i have to agree...

plant's vocal range has diminished over the decades

one would have to be stone deaf to not be able to tell the difference between now and twenty or thirty years ago

    duh

  • Not necessarily diminished but lowered yes to expect robert to be able to pull off the high notes he did when he was 20-30 when he is 60 now is ridiculous. By the way he still is an amazing singer and has great tone as always, singing is about alot more than range or how decorative ones singing is people seem to have forgotten that in the modern age of studio editing every fucking note and all this autotuner bullshit.

  • its not even about how well they play its about being there and remembering the moment

  • I don't think he would embarrass himself. It would be if you expected him to be like the 70s Plant. In that case I suppose you would be the one who should be embarrassed!

  • jimmy page is GOD! He got his mojo working!

  • Nice to see how they can still have their magic moments on stage....but Plant better get his act together and realize that they might not get another chance to tour together like this EVER AGAIN.

  • You just can't hear it on this video but I can tell you

    A) Robert was in amazing voice - he sounded wonderful, as did the whole band - it is the sound quality of the taping equipment that isn't any good

    B) The crowd really were actually singing their hearts out as well

    C) Robert hasn't taken drugs of any kind since August 1977 (if you want to know why, then do some research)

  • He was looking for the audience to sing. They didn't, he was like, WTF? Lol

  • thats cuz hes used 2 an audience inturupting him for it...wut happened 2 this croud MAKE SOME NOISE!!!

  • jason bonham is just a good a john bonham

    but bonham is way better

  • Yes, Bonham is the best one. If I had a choice between Bonham and Bonham, I would choose Bonham any day!

  • I disagree I like Bonham way more than Bonham, Bonham is nothing compared to Bonham.

  • Bonham is good but you just cant beat Bonham

  • Bonham is great but Bonham had something about him that Bonham just can't hope to match! Bonham all the way.

  • this doesnt sound good dont get me wrong led zepplin is awsome but the sound quality is not good here

  • sounds weird live but its still very amazing

  • Staggeringly good!

  • too bad plants not gonna be in teh the led zeppelin world tour this concert was really good and sence kruass and him were singing she kinda taught him to sing on key sometimes plant would loose key but teh onley time plant sucks was 1980 his voice really craped out lol but this was teh best:D

  • uh you need to keep up there isn't going to be any tour. That was announced a few months ago.

  • Love led zep jason fits the band verry well

  • The greatest rock and roll band in the history of mankind. PERIOD!!!!

  • Great!

  • BEST BAND EVER!

  • jason sounds so much like his dad.

shame they arnet going to tour they could only do it with robert tho.

  • they are

  • damnnnn they are so great..i cant wait to release the dvd for this concert even is after 20-30 years

  • Is one going to be released?

  • With the amount of cameras that were around in the arena then I can definitely see a DVD on the horizon.

They were the best band I've ever seen and videos do not do them justice. If Jesus came back from the dead and was appearing in my city and Led Zeppelin were performing 5,000 miles away on the same day then i would be on a plane in no time.

Words cannot describe how good they really are. Without doubt the greatest band this planet has seen.

  • lol evr time jason hits the bass drum it overloads the mic.

  • indeed sick seats and thanks to who posted it..

but if i were him .. believe me i would have gone crazy instead of taping :P ;)

  • u had sick seats man wish i could have been there. how much were seats around there

  • this was a once in a life time thing

Just enjoy ty who posted this

  • Whats the deal? Is zep actually going on the road? Pagey's manager said that zeppelin is over. Im confused! HELP!

  • wie geil ist das denn?? da wär ich nur zu gern gewesen!!!!!!!

  • I'm just glad their gonna get back on the road. Led Zeppelin will live forever!

  • yeaa!!!!!!!!!!!!!11

  • Love it when plant kicks the mike stand 3:28

  • i heard the same rumor, but with David Coverdale....probably not since Plant hates him

  • Surprised they're not all deaf really.

Still making amazing music after 40 years

    Beautiful

  • they probably have some hearing problems. Not deafness, but i wouldnt be surprised if maybe Jimmy was hard of hearing in one ear....

  • screw you fag!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Hey I'm a headbanging, cocksucking, faggot and I resent your inferance that being queer is appropriate insult. Read some books and learn to speak (and write) like an intelligent human being. Or, try sucking dick which is most likely what you secretly crave anyway.

  • Maybe the tickets to those two concerts should've been given to someone more grateful than you. Millions of people would kill to Zeppelin.

  • Your a bad man.

  • No, he said he wouldn't do it again, i'd like to see that guy from Wolfmother do the singing, his voice sounds exactly like a young Robert Plant

  • No he doesn't. The guy from Wolfmother whines quietly into the mic, and then someone bangs a lot of compression onto it to add distortion and make it sound tough - doesn't work. It does, however, make him sound like just about every other singer so far this century.

The guy from Wolfmother can't do jack shit compared to young Robert Plant. Doesn't have any of the chops or the range.

Woman is a catchy song though!

  • True Fact: One night in '68 or '69, Robert's monitor gave out but he kept singing. Although it wasn't as loud, he could still be heard over the band.

  • So I've heard!

It's not so uncommon though, depending on the venue. Some folks can project their voices very well in that environment, the lucky bastards!

  • Nope

  • so is plant gonna tour with the rest of the band in 09?

  • Theres alot of shit going around...I heard they where gonna tour with Steven Tyler! Which I think it abit of a mistake. As much as I'd LOVE to see Led Zeppelin...You can't tour a band without the lead singer. Robert Plant is amazing too.

  • my fav song of the LED ZEP woooohoooooo
