This is my Dad singing, John Hebron, He passed away 1995, contact Circle records to find out latest involvements, there maybe something in the pipe line if we can get my Uncle Rik (Rick Hayward) to stop being a hermit!! xx Regards to all, Jill
the accent hailed from yorkshire with aline up of rick berket (guitar) john hebron(vocals/guitar).alan davis(bass),pete beethan(drums)...they were spotted by mike vernon blue horizen label fame..you may no or not rick birkett became rick hayward a transitory member of the zombies and then jellybread....just a little history on the group.......
Great production, one of the best guitar sounds ever, cool loping bassline & powerhouse drums.
I heard this on the radio in '67, caught the train from Caringbah to the city & bought one of two copies in Palings.
Hardly any info available on this one ( thanks Neil R. )....I'm wondering what sort of guitar ..... the grinding wood tone in the riff....sounds like a construction site.....maybe a Les Paul?
This brings back so many memories! I knew Alan the Bass player/singer and Pete the drummer and remember sitting in on a rehearsal just before they went to London to do their gigs at Billy Walkers club. I did get the opportunity to do some jammin' with Alan & Pete in the early 70's and they were great player's! They still occasionally turn up to our Monday night Jam sessions at the Black Bull in Clayton and it's always a pleasure to see and chat with them over a beer! Neil R.

A favourite of mine. One and only 45 from The Accent. The flip is just as great too.

Great, '67 innovative track. pre-dating '70's 'heavy metal'.
Who is the guitarist!!!!
