I have to disagree with you chuggaaconroy, Belch CAN in fact be defeated without the fly honey. It requires you to paralyze him and then use the HP-Sucker on him and the slimy little pile he summons. It takes damn near forever and I don't understand why a person would want to do that but its possible.

When I came back to fight him, I threw about 10+ PSI Freeze B's and 5+ PSI Gaming (Ness Special) at him and he never died. Then I watched this video and heard about how he wouldn't die UNLESS you use the fly honey... wow, I feel retarded.

Actually, what's written in the code isn't HP replenishment. There's simply a flag set whether or not he has the fly honey, so he's immune to damage. However, the HP sucker, with code much like magnet, CAN take HP away. Since he really doesn't have an HP replenishing routine, he can be defeated by continuously using the HP sucker to pull his HP down.

I think the change was made, not to prevent the uproar of atheists, but to prevent offense to those who rather keep their religion out of a game.
