Had to say more. I love this song, it's one of my favourites. Even being a young Australian for some reason when I listen to this I feel American, and am I the only one who becomes all nostalgic thinking about pre 70's rock and roll? And the American outback. (despite being born in the 90's and having not yet visited america) but this is the best cover I've ever heard. Note perfect. And I never usually write serious comments like this :P

Yep, I completely agree. Been playing this song since I was 12 or so. Real easy, a couple funny spots where you hop around ... lyrics can be a challenge. No, not really. Just listen to the strumming and try to copy that, best way to do it. Watch some of my videos and see how i strum, try to copy. That's how to learn. Don't waste too much money on lessons or anything but practice lots and you will sound great!

Sorry Jake, I didn't realize you had been playing for 4 years. Never mind the classical guitar, you are ready for something decent. The Seagull cost about $700 and it's not bad ... it has a decent pickup and tuner. The Ovation was $3000 and there's no comparison but that's overkill except for the real guitar enthusiast. This guitar is a seagull 25th anniversary, it's not bad. My fav is the black Ovation legend you see me with in more recent videos. Good luck getting a guitar, i suggest a classical for just learning.

Hehe, wow thanks man. This guitar in the video is a 25th anniversary Seagull... i'm not a huge seagull fan but I was using this while waiting for my black ovation to come in (you can see that in the more recent videos). Still, it's a decent guitar with pickup for recording. Thanks again. :)

Ha! Now that's just plain sad. I generally don't like re-doing songs, I always prefer the original artist. That's why I hesitated for so long doing covers.
