I know this is a stupid complaint, but this isn't BASE jumping as much as just skydiving. The thing about BASE jumping is that you jump off of things that are generally unsafe to do. That tower is so massive and nothing is around it to worry about. Don't get me wrong...those guys have more balls than me. Just seems like once you take BASE jumping to that extreme you can start re-defining the meaning of the word.

@Metzae base jumping just means your jumping off a fixed structure/cliff/bridge, it has nothing to do with what's around the landing site. Skydiving is from a moving airplane/helicopter

@roflcopter667 I know the difference. My point is that jumping off of something that high just doesn't seem like BASE jumping to me. It seems like falling out of Heaven or something crazy. And technically speaking, he was on a moving platform. The top of that tower must be swaying at a sickening rate. The WTC towers moved eight feet in each direction at the top just because of wind, and it was 2/3rds the size of the Burj Khalifa.
