I think he left because he wants to be known for more than being the funny guy on a show. In most of our eyes, including mine, he is Nathan from Misfits. I think he's just trying to branch out and be taken seriously or something. I hope he succeeds, but I'm so gonna be disappointed watching series 3 of Misfits.

I love people saying that we're hating on Robert because he wanted to get bigger or whatever. Truth of the matter is...it remains to be seen if he'll get big or not. A moving like this does not mean he's big or more famous than on misfits whatsoever. Plus in my case i'm generally more concerned abt what the show will become without him. Nathan's character was the heart of the show. Now it's just a rotting corpse-ish (not to be rude to the other lovely actors)
