08 cbr 1000rr its a fast bike if u are 5feet tall and 150lb and that midrange power its crazy,the new r1 its dituned cause of that new ecu restrictions at 12rpm uses 80% of throtle i need to do a reflash,i had a 08 cbr 1000 comparing it to r1 to me its trash,that bike is fast but contoling it not passable if u want to die buy one.

I am not impressed with the new R1 if that honda pulled on you like that, what happen? I hope it's just that you where in 3rd and he went to 2nd.. But over all do you like the 2010 R1? 09-11 R1 might be my next bike.

@Antwann1984 i know you not asking me but i have use of both the 2010 cbr and the r1 which is mine, and that cbr doesnt pull like this thing,,also in roll on tests it leaves the cbr behind..its also alot bigger i find cbr to closed in..watch 2009 r1 vs honda fireblade,that says at the end it makes the blade feel like a 600 power wise....you also dont get the inline four whine /engine buzzing that makes you wanna change up all the time ...go for it especially if your large
