Great advice. I HATE spam, you're right marketers need to think past that one sale. People are more likely to buy if they trust you and you've given them something of value like free helpful info and established a good relationship with them; they'll value your recommendation then...and it will be easier to make a sale not just one but in the future w/ other products. But if it's a random spam attack, that goes into the trash bin lol.
