Usually, I find modern interviewers annoyingly centered more on themselves than their guests, but Shatner's style, though talky, has a way of coaxing the real personalities out of his guests.

I like the idea of "Raw Nerve" though I am not so sure you can do psychoanalysis on demand for a TV show, it is interesting to see at least an attempt to be real. It's pretty daring.

It's interesting for a long time tv/movie personality to become a talk show host because Shatner doesn't really fit that mold.

He's not a typical career talk show host, so he doesn't have to put up some kind of act. He can just be himself and the stars can really open up as if they are just talking to someone that can relate to them on some level. It's a great idea for a talk show.
