How to Ace a Beauty Pageant Interview

Should I wear something appropriate to my taste that I feel comfortable in or should i wear a suit and feel horrible because I am not comfortable in it at all??

you don't have to wear a suit a nice top and dress pants looks good(never a plain white button down though please) or a nice dress and a cardi. Miss Usa state lets you wear things along those lines. Some don't though.

Suits are def still used; at least, they've been required in every pageant I've been in. Dresses can be worn, but they want some form of jacket on you as well if you've got a dress on. Fashionable doesn't mean trendy.

this is outdated, no one wears suits anymore, be trendy, i do pageants, and this era is over!

@queen1414 I wear suits to pageants, it's expected. I do pageants and I've won every one i've been in wearing a suit.

There are some dresses that are still considered appropriate for the interview

selection. They are very traditional looking, and very classic. Some "pageant catalogs" sell them. I know some of the Miss America locals actually recommend these dresses as appose to interview suits

HORRIBLE advice! the days of stuffy interview suits are OVER! wear a dress, pantsuit, or trendy suit.
