Hey now, I'm 12 and this is the best movie I've ever seen. Not for YOUNG children, like 6 and 7 and 8, etc. Honestly, the movie isn't THAT raunchy. Just the beginning. *shudder* lol. In proper context, the film is actually a great learning experience. It's funny, sad, and I loved it. ^^ It was just a fabulous movie.
Of course there is something you can learn from everything, but I don't believe it would be /that/ great of a learning experience. It is a comedy, they are over exaggerating everything.
REAL pregnancy is not like that at all! It's very hard to deal with when you are not ready for motherhood. They're all just showing the bright side of things, not the real sad side.

This movie is NOT for kids nor for teens. In typical vulgar MTV pop culture fashion, it's another effort to "glorify" salacious behaviour among teens and tweens - under the guise of "anything goes" grins and giggles.
Speaking as someone who thinks our culture IS actually pretty depraved and just plain old shitty... and hates MTV and mainstream rap... this movie is great. At 12 my friends and I knew everything there was to know about what they discuss in this movie. If you're gonna see it with parents, tho, make sure they're the open minded type (: They might be uncomfortable in the beginning, but as the movie progresses everyone just ends up falling in love with the story anyway. Definitely see it! :D
Why do you think this isn't for all ages, exactly? I have a cousin who's 10, and he went to see this with a bunch of his friends and really enjoyed it - he thought it was funny. My grandma also saw it, and really enjoyed it - she thought it was heart-warming. Different people will take different things away from this movie, but it works on all those levels.

This was a great movie, nothing was 'bad' about it, go see it, it's worth the money :) Had me laughing the whole time, and some of my friends even teared up, haha.

Ask any decent parents their thoughts, those parents that set good examples of decency, morals and self-respect. At 12 my friends and I knew everything there was to know about what they discuss in this movie. If you're gonna see it with parents, tho, make sure they're the open minded type (: They might be uncomfortable in the beginning, but as the movie progresses everyone just ends up falling in love with the story anyway. Definitely see it! :D

Why do you think this isn't for all ages, exactly? I have a cousin who's 10, and he went to see this with a bunch of his friends and really enjoyed it - he thought it was funny. My grandma also saw it, and really enjoyed it - she thought it was heart-warming. Different people will take different things away from this movie, but it works on all those levels.
