Am so proud of the intelligence and sincerity of the Oregon voters. Supporting Barack is the only way to go. It is going to take alot of time and energy to to resolve all the diasters the republicans have created and Barack Obama is the one to do it.
Smarter government is not only better government, it is essential for such a powerful country.
Obama offers us a chance at smarter government with a conscience, a chance at showing the world we can choose to do better at electing good government than we have done in the past.
I listen to Obama and I hear spin and more spin. McCain is not the same as Bush. Obama is trying to frame McCain into something he is not. His spin and attacks at McCain only turns me off. Over and over I hear about his meager upbring, Jerimiah Wright upbring/ indoctrination to become the elitis I hear at the podium. Clinton should get the nomination.
Has Obama been commited to his speeches all along. What has he actually done in the past that would make me believe he is saying. He talks a good talk. What has he done? He seems wet behind the ears.
mkmsmt, the truth hurts. McBush are one in the same. Anyone who believes McBush is going to be any different than his predecessor are same people who believe Hillary can still win her party's nomination...they're delusional.
I am an Oregonian for Obama. I spent the last year of my life working on a fishing boat in Alaska, trying to get rid of debt accumulated over the past 5 years. During those years I worked for a company that saw record growth for those on top, and I was rewarded with 4% annual raises. Since I returned from working 12 and 16 hour shifts, 7 days a week, I've seen less and less opportunity. I am slowly falling back into debt, and I personally need some serious change to our economic regulation.
In most but certainly not all cases debt is accumulated due to poor financial decision making. It is not your employer's responsibility to bail you out nor is it the government's. Regulation causes the problems it claims to solve. Costs go up quality goes down. Just look at health care and fuel costs--two industries that are most heavily regulated. Then look at computers and cell phones where there's less regulation and costs keep falling and quality goes up.
Quote from Obama: "I will do what is necesary to protect the american people"
The war in Iraq in my view, in the 5 years that it has been going the USA has not had a single terroist attack.
I am not for bush, but nor Clinton nor Obama can just pull out of a war, you'd end up going back, the Military Provides jobs. and if theres no war, more people loose their jobs.
That was the weakest argument ever. Not based in fact at all.. if you plan on saying such things in public please provide links to research and proof of your claim.
The terrorists were not from Iraq, we should've sent troops to afghanistan, they're the ones who attacked us on sept 11th and a few times before then.
Also, there has been terrorism in the last 5 years. Iraqis killing US troops with IED's is basically terrorism, the only difference is it's in another country.
over 4,000 US troops have died in Iraq and only about 3000 people died on september 11th. Not to mention 30,000-90,000 Iraqi people.
Iraq is a horrible war and we need to get out safely.
I'll admit you're using logic, but you're only using it a little bit of the way there. We may be providing jobs by battling in Iraq, but we are also losing much more resources than we are gaining or supplying people. On average, we spend $5000 a SECOND in Iraq right now. Also, lest we forget the words of Tony Benn, "If you can find money to kill people, you can find money to help people". We had enough jobs before Iraq, and we can have plenty without it now. Check Obama's plans on his site.
This is the dumbest Youtube comment I have ever read. SOOO we nee to have Americans constantly being killed in wars in order to provide jobs? Think before you speak.
But the war in Iraq has claimed over 6 thousands American lives and counting. And that is leaving out those who have no life left since they return after sustaining some of the most unimaginable injuries u can ever imagine, not counting those traumatised to the point of commiting suicide, those that were brought back injured and die as a result. That 6000 figure is only those who came back in black body bags
I've never understood why conservatives obtain the vote of a lot of the rural and blue-collar folks. It seems that the benefits have only been one way in that relationship.
What a wonderful man Obama is, I trust him to make positive change.
I have been a republican for my whole life but will vote Obama in november. I dont feel the same about Hillery so if she wins the nomination I will not vote for her.
This is a good vid. He looks and sounds invigorated. Keep it up. Don't completely ignore Hillary as long as she is still in the race. And prepare to debate McCain. I can't wait to see it.
I've favorited this video. It has a good feel to it. It gives us optimism and hope and helps us to look toward the future. Great way to talk about technology, the environment and employment.

Let's watch for a flood of Supers on the 21st, 22nd, and 23rd that will bring this marathon to and end.
Then on to the campaign against George Bush's most beloved surrogate, John McCain.
Won't that be something to see!
