  • G0SH! If you would like to watch Movie here at MoviesS.up.to Go for it! WATCH!

  • I just watched this movie and it is one of my favorites. Claire Danes did an incredible job and David Strathairn was an amazing supporting actor.

  • Watched it a few times. Check out our Animating Autism

  • Look at That! This Movie can be watched for free at GetFullMoviezz.cn.to

  • I watched This Movie FULL at GetFullMoviezz.hk.to

  • I know the girl who palys temple @ 0:28 her name is jenna hughes she goes to my moddle school

  • Quero parabenizar as familia que apoiam integralmente os filhos para que a exemplo de Temple supere todas as adversidades.

  • does anyone know where i can get the film of temple grandin, it is truly inspirational and a must for anyone studying counselling and psychology

  • The MUSIC for this film is amazing. It contributes brilliantly to the entire subject of autism and Dr. Grandin. It uses a type of musical construct called "ostenato" or repetition of small melodic intervals and clips.

I think the music is a work of genius. sanjosemike

  • @sanjosemike If you've ever seen the move "The Illusionist", the music is quite alike. It has the same type of construct as this.

  • @thesimnetwork

Thanks for the "head's up" on the music from "The Illusionist." I have seen that movie too and it is brilliant. It also presents Jessica Beil as one of the most beautiful women I have ever seen. Perhaps I was too enamored with her to "notice" the music...

  • Wonderful movie. Absoloutly brilliant! =)

  • People with autism never learn to speak, read, write or use a toilet. Grandin is not autistic. She has Asperger's. HBO does a huge disservice to actual autistic people by not showing the horror that is autism.

  • @foresam Hehe! You're ignorant! That's funny!

  • @ElleEstVivante "A" for name calling. Let's see you argue your point.

  • @foresam Um... oh dear. The only point I can up with that I think I may have implied was that you were ignorant? But I actually wrote that so I guess it's not really implying per se, but eliciting?

But speaking of implications, you seem to be implying that you seem to think of all autistics as the same in their behavior and you also seem to want to argue with someone? Self-preferably not me.

  • Now that I think about, your "toilet" remark leads me to believe you are simply trolling. In that case "F" for trolling if an aspie as myself could figure out something that "subtle."

  • @foresam Autistic people can learn to write and read and talk and do everyday life things. The thing that makes them different is that their sensitive to things like noise and color and crowds.I would know this because I have autism.

  • @foresam Duh...Fuckwit.

  • @foresam Actaually that is NOT true.

  • @haileywagenaar11 If I said it, it's true.

  • Hi from Czech Republic....Somebody tell me please the link where I can see this movie? I have Asp.syndrom :-) Thanks

  • So wonderful.... I loved it...doors...yes they are hard.

  • remarkable person and achievements in life with the ability to see beyond the ordinary things in life, thank you for your insight and also how to look on this world through an autistic person's eyes.

  • Awesome film!

  • I'm not autistic, but, I do seem to have the milder asperger's form of it.

  • Anything to do with Temple Grandin makes me well up

  • We can learn so much from what we do not initially understand....overcoming fear of the unknown is critical to our evolution

  • It is not what we can't do that is important, it is what we can do that is important.

  • this movie is great and very eye opening temple grandin changed the world and she changed me im a basketball player and she opened my eyes to things u couldnt imagine

  • I watched at Boces in CNY. I borrow the tape and my husband saw it and love it.

My son has mild Autism- Aspergers.

  • omg looks like some terrible acting! The woman has autism not mental retardation!

  • @leakeg Watch a video fo the real Temple Grandin and one of Claire Danes, she is spot on and perfect.

  • @leakeg Watch the movie.

  • @leakeg Wrong. Claire Danes won the Best Actress Emmy, Julia Ormond won the Best Supporting Actress Emmy and the movie won 5 other Emmys. It's an American classic. Check it out.

  • @leakeg You're not familiar with Asperger Syndrome, then.

  • i can never find it on HBO!

  • Claire Danes is great in that movie she's in. Her character sounds a lot like Ann B. Davis from The Brady Bunch I hope she'll win an Emmy and a Golden Globe for her role in the movie Temple Grandin.

  • I watched this film the other day, and before I go much further I should mention that I met Temple Grandin when my wife was a vet student at CSU

Wow. What a great movie. Well put together and the performance by Danes is captivating. The movie smartly avoids the schmaltzy heart-strings stuff and focuses instead on the story.

If Danes does not win the Emmy for this performance it will be an absolute travesty.

  • Clare Danes is an amazing actress. She's gonna win an Emmy award for her performance.

  • Amazing movie

  • Is this movie on DVD? i really want it

  • Asperger''s is very similar to High Functiong Autism. It's in the Autism Spectrum. There is even a suggestion to drop the Asperger's diagnosis to eliminate confusion. My son is High Functioning and he is very bright. This movie was excellent.

  • @CriticMiami Asperger's Syndrome has only been around as a real diagnosis since the 90's. With Asperger's, the kid is able to communicate, but it's more focused. Warhol, Tesla, Einstein, and H.P. Lovecraft likely had Asperger's, not full-blown Autism.

  • @CriticMiami - my daughter has Asperger's too.Her initial dx was PDD NOS. Very similar to Temple no speech until 4.Since she is an Aug. baby she started kindergarten and just turned 5.So she had a year of using language to communicate before she started school. At the mid-point of the year her teacher was already suggesting that we hold her back and then proceeded to promote her.Her 1st month in the 1st grade she earned student of the month and was placed in the ACE's program. She's brilliant.

  • I love the movie .

  • This is Aspergers not autism

  • @kgaccount

Aspergers is a mild form of autism. There are deferent severities of autism. I have an Autistic brother and he is considered to be high functioning autistic.

  • kgaccount,

If you are referring to Temple Grandin, she started as severely autistic, and only through the very hard work of her parents and herself does she now present as Aspergers.

  • Aspergers is a type of autism.

  • I had to tell my little sister about this movie, since she is the mother of an autistic child... I guess it was my way of telling her to never give up. Loved the movie...

  • I love the movie and i want to show my grandmother can you plz send me a URL so i can show her????

  • I thought that part of Tropic Thunder sucked.

  • i just watched this movie today. its amazing. im gonna tell everyone to watch it!!

  • I saw the movie last Sunday On HBO, Word can't Describe what I felt when I saw the movie, very deep, sensible, powerfull, A Masterpiece, I'm still impressed by Clarre Danes Performances, touching, brilliant and beautifull

  • where can I watch it ?

  • nice

  • just finished watching this film....... lost for words....... that woman can act!!!!!!!

  • This looks really amazing! I wish I could watch it. Don't have the HBO Channel. I love Claire Danes, i am her number one fan and from what I see here she is brilliant! :) Way to go Claire! And to the rest of the cast. Great work. HOpefully i will watch it soon.
