But honestly, i think the editing/directing was the only thing bad about this, and for some reason that's what everybody says is great. just in the snow shooting scene towards the middle, its confusing as shit. Ever heard of the law of 180? google it. Then redo the scene. It will look so much better.
You need to focus your efforts on acting and the image of your characters. The cinematogrsphy and editing are great, but it's all wasted if the video looks like some long haired kids playing with airsoft guns, which is exactly what it looked like. Recognize the type of people you are trying to portray.
yeah haha, thanks. We had a plot that was almost completed but then the snow randomly all melted and never came back. The scenes needed to be done outside so we couldn't do them, so this is all we're left with. Thanks though!
5/5. Aaron, your editing skills and capturing abilities are amazing. Every time I watch the stuff you make, I quickly find myself asking the same question: What software do you use to edit?
I have to say, one of the best amateur works I have seen on youtube to date. Angles were textbook, I really liked how you went from a close, in-depth, moving camera, action shot to a long landscape shot creating distance from the viewer and the actors. Marvelous job, keep doing what you are doing!

Good job Aaron. I would have the characters having on different clothing, even though I was able to tell who was who.

Thanks! Sony Vegas 8.0, and for some special effects shots I used Adobe After Effects CS3. The color curving was done with magic bullet.
