Oh I hated it when I had to sell my DJ equipment. I had 2 SL 1200 MK II turtables. IMHO Techniques made the best D.J. turntables & now they have them with PNP?

Or is that just the Denons?

I had 2 black turntables & a really great pro mixer, but had to sell them :-(

Oh well, I'm slowly going to try to get them back again!

Dad told me I could buy 2 for this Christmas & a good mixer + the slip mats, a clamp, New Stanton cartridges, etc.

@esacnitsuj1 I'm sure you can get back what you had to sell. I have been in the same situation many times. You can still pick up the 1200 series on the used market, but new ones are expensive due to Panasonic discontinuing the 1200 in August 2010.

Thanks for the info. I could have used one of those when I was a DJ. Some of those less than stellar pressings I got were a bitch to deal with. That may have helped.

What's the clamp used for? Record slippage or rumble reduction.....just guessing. Love this song! BTW-nice forearm.
