I'm doing a design on an existing road who's shoulder had fell off. I decided to widen the road about 5 feet and cutting into the cut bank. At the edge of road new road I want to begin a cut slope at a 1:1 slope but I'm having problems creating an assembly that I will do a cut slope of 1:1. I have polylines to set as targets but it's still giving me a flat level cut but I need that 1:1 beginning at the edge of road. Can you help me with that. I'm using Autocad Civil 3D
Thanks for the response. I'm using Autocad Civil 3D 2011. Like I said before I decided to widen the road about 5 feet and cutting into the cut bank. I'm using Civil 3D to model streets for my Vue scene. The only data given to me was 2 meter LiDAR and a blurry aerial photo. I haven't found a better modeler to model something to perfectly match terrain. This video has been very helpful in helping me figure this software out.

@EW2003 No problem, I will help you. Please tell me which version of C3D are you using?

@EW2003 Please try one of these two subassemblies: LinkOffsetAndSlope or LinkWidthAndSlope

@MLouisUSA I have no idea how they work but they sound self explanatory. Thanks, I'll give it a try.

Civil 3D seems time consuming, but I can see the power of this program.
