  • hey man !!! where is the second part...?and third part?

  • debil z ciebie po huja taki beznadziejny film dodajesz cioto

  • thats funny/ so thats wat happens when u go too fast/ u create a worm hole and u end up in a different dimention

  • I worked in the program. Lockheed owned them. Congress funded them, but Lockheed didn't "sell" them to the USA, they were operated under contract. The ones Nasa had were USAF assigned assets as were the pilots who flew the NASA birds at Edwards. Lockheed kept their own people in the program right to the time they were retired. The Lockheed people WERE however paid on the GS payscale.

  • WOW that looks SSSSSSOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO real!

  • The Final Countdown (Again)

  • @midwestfarmer12 Wrong. They were owned and built by Lockheed, leased to the CIA, Nasa and USAF.

  • @scismgenie according to the NASA website, they were owned by the Air Force and loaned to NASA for research purposes

  • they probably flew over the Bermuda Triangle

  • @midwestfarmer12 not before the air force since the 1960's dumbass!!!!!!

  • I think its some kinda worm hole?

I think Wormholes only exist in star trek..

    yeah, well were in one

  • What's the music which sounds in the beginning of the clip?? Just a few seconds:))

  • @VSZHOPY The name of that song is "I dont want to know" by Mario winans.

  • @Carlos2007gt Thank's a lot!!

  • @VSZHOPY

Sorry I did not reply to this sooner, I did not realize the comment section had moved. The song is by Enya, and it is called Boadicia.

    Cheers

  • @ascendantonline Nothing to sorry anout. I was answered this question nearly 7 mounths ago by now(as Youtube shows). But thank you anyway, the vid is superb!))

  • @VSZHOPY I replied because he gave you the wrong information, and I wanted to ensure you had the correct information. Thank you for your interest, it is much appreciated.

  • @ascendantonline Ok,deal!:)

  • That's awesome FSX is the shit.

  • "I think wormholes only exist in Star Trek"

    "Yeah well, we're in one..."

    lol.

  • IS this real audio commentary?

  • @JeffDrumm

    Hi Jeff,

No, this is voice acting. why, does it sound real?

  • @ascendantonline it sounds real, but its too calm. i dont know about real sr-71 pilots, but i would be spazing out and swearing. "WOAH WTF IS GOING ON!?!?! EJECT EJECT!!"

  • @ascendantonline because it probably is.

  • @ascendantonline i like the idea of the wormhole, since the sr-71 flies close to space at incredible speeds. Favourite

  • @thestickysoldiers Thanks. I appreciate it. :)

  • NICE VIDEO!!! Continue it as soon as possible!!!

  • not only that the Mig had to know when a Sr-71 was in the area by the time the mig-25's got up the Sr-71 was long gone.

  • lol i love the monotone voice... "get out of here man"

  • There is no comparison between a Mig 25 and the SR-71......the published ceiling and speed of the SR-71 are no where near the actual figures it attained. There are radar tapes of it exceeding 2300 MPH at altitudes above 120000 feet.....the MIG 25 can't come close to that. you can read the entire SR-71 flight manual on the internet, but those figures don't tell the full story.

  • The MIG 25 Foxbat was designed to intercept the XB-70. The soviets were always wildly paranoid about invasions of the motherland

  • The mig can almost fly at the same speed as the blackbird. The only thing is that the mig can only do it for a minute or two before the engines blow. The blackbird does it for hours on end.

  • Me.

  • and who has the largest male genitalia among humans?

  • ME of course

  • gassy bastard:

One thing to think about is comparing apples to apples - the SR71 was a recon airplane and the Mig a fighter/bomber. Another is the speed run of the Mig was just that - a speed run for a short distance and not sustained, which is the commonly quoted figure for the SR (really was supposed to be RS) 71.

  • The SR-71 might be a little faster than the fastest version of the Mig-25 Foxbat. But the Foxbat has a higher ceiling and it is an actual combat aircrafct. The SR-71 is as useless as a dragster, it has no weapons and no means of defense or attack. Only speed. Therefore, the MIg-25 is the fastest jetfighter/bomber in the the world.

  • The Mig 25 is not faster, it also had a bad habit in that every time it tried to chase down an SR-71 it's engines main compressor would fry and have to be replaced. This happened several times over Lebanon, Jordan and Syria in the early 70's while the US was over flying those countries for Israel.

Every time a Mig25 tried to run down an SR-71 it would fall way short. The real speed of the SR-71 is still classified because the US can always pull it out of mothballs and fly it if needed.

  • The fastest the Mig25 will go is less than 1900mph, the SR-71's is 2,194mph, the official record that surpassed the highly modified prototype of the Mig25, the YE-166 that set the previous record of 2007mph. So even the stripped down version of the Mig25 was no match for the SR-71.

  • It seems the Russians set records with prototypes instead of the planes derived from those prototypes! Everyone thinks the actual speed of the Mig25 is the record speed the YE-166 set, but it's not. The YE-166 had no missiles or racks of any kind hanging off it while every Mig25 had multiple missile racks with missiles making it a flying brick with less than a 1900mph top speed.

All everyone knows about the SR-71 is the speed it set the world records with, 2,194mph.

  • The rumor is that the SR-71 could and did surpass 2400mph. My dad was a junior engineer at P&W when they were designing the J-58 and has told me that the design speed for the J-58 was 2500mph+ with a possible 2600mph as the final rating. He thinks the speed of the SR-71 is slightly over 2400mph.

My dad retired from P&W in the early 90's just as I was starting out at P&W. I'm now the project manager for upgraded, new and future military propulsion systems (F100-229/232-EEP and F119-100/45NG)

  • no its not, go have a look for urself. if it was faster, than it wouldve shot down the SR-71 no problem, but it didnt. MiG-25 is friggin sick tho

  • no i promise you the mig wasnt faster, the sr71's actualy top speed was classified, my best friends grandpa was the 2nd to ever fly the sr71 and i have the skunk works medallion and spacesuit helmet to prove it. he said the sr71 went well over mach 3.2 no problem and idk about you but i will believe the actual pilot of the sr71 over the press anyday!

  • i agree, plus if anyone is interested, just look at all the official documents, they all say Mach 3+ for the Max. Speed. Note the "+" which means it can go faster than Mach 3 ^^

  • Cool. I want to see part 2!

  • :D

    I love it man :D

  • is a game?

    his name?

  • Thanks everybody

-Alex - MS FSX was used to shoot the aircraft, but the rest is original and not part of any game.

  • okok understand, but i know a game powered by alpha sim and is FLIGTH SIMULATOR

they make mods for this game....is similar

  • that was awesome! please do a tomcat version

  • it sounds like the humming from i dont wanna know i cant remember who sings it but i think its with p. didy

  • Very well done. Great voice work.

  • Enya-boadicea

  • pretty good diologue guys i enjoyed that shame the sr-71 isnt on a 360 simulator as i have over g fighters and that has pretty good cockpits.. mind you it is in the sandbox to shoot down though.. oh well gibnba jabber over keep it up

  • It wasn't because they were decommissioned and sent to museums for static display. At least get your facts and quit making "UFO" sightings.

  • lol sr-71 a ufo... maybe hes a kid ha ha

  • NASA RETIRED THE BLACKBIRD FOR MILITARY STUDDY SO THAT THEY CAN DESIGHN AIRCRAFT THAT MAY GO FASTER AND SO THAT THEY CAN EVEN UPDATE AIRCRAFT lIKE THE BLACKBIRD SO THAT THEY ARE UP TO DATE !! omfg if you wanna studdy aircraft or make remarks at least know what you are talking about

  • haha COOL ITs made in fsx isn't it?^^

  • The plane was designed by lockheed not nasa so it really should say lockheed damn it! Thanks for letting me vent

  • Great clip. I was disappointed that part 2 isn't there yet. Good work.

  • that is scary!

  • fsx this is cool but there is the film some years back, tora tora tora maybe? where the modern aircraft carrier encountered a surface "worm hole" and emerged in 1941. that was nice and thanks for sending me this video!

  • "THe final countdown" Great movie.

  • WOW,they should make a real big screen movie based on this clip, that is if the second and third part are as good as this one. keep more series coming!!!

  • nice

  • Very cute and clever.

    I like it.

  • "Yeah, well we're in one." Great dialogue!

  • Agreed. "Get us outta' here, man!"

  • And Merry Christmas to you too. ;) Glad you enjoyed the vid.

PS It used to be. Ask Google why they keep screwing things up, not me. Things are constantly changing since they bought it.

  • FLyght simulator game invented new type of art... gamecliping :-D

  • this is actually very well done for an amateur piece. Good job!

  • normally i dont like the animated videos on youtube... but this is actually really good... i would like to see the next epsiode... it is really though out... well kinda.. with the whole mach 3 black bird flying over area 51 type ofthing...

  • next episode pleez

  • EPISODE II NOW!!!! 5/5

  • I guess I had better get my butt in gear. Sorry all, a change in employment and starting some classes got in the way. I will get to work right away.

  • Cool. But the SR-71 wasn't a NASA project, it was Air Force/CIA. Awesome animation nonetheless.

  • The SR-71 is now being used by NASA (actually being rented out) so it is still realistic.

  • No, NASA retired both of those birds and they are no longer in use.

  • NASA used the SR-71 for advanced engine study up until 2001. The Air Force turned them over to them when they needed a plane with high speed and altitude capabilities.

  • shit

  • OK its been many months now! Wheres Episode II?

  • nice job designing

  • Good one from a Cobra-Ball II A/C!

  • nice job

  • so when is the second to be

  • Well, I am just putting the finishing touches on our new website: ascendant-online dot net - As that is now mostly done, I hope to be back to work on part two within a couple of days. Stay Tuned :)

  • LOL - I was hoping nobody would notice that :)

  • Hey that's pretty cool. Nice voice acting.

But wait, why is a Nasa bird doing recon?

  • lol cool i liekd it make another

  • fuck area 51

go to google earth and look for area 51 itll show u it but it wont show u area 52 and 53

  • Thanks everybody.

It is exciting to see it hit 10,000 views.
