Birmans are my favorites, they forgot to say Birmans like to sleep beside owners at night. They are really sweetest of all!!!

I can attest to its disposition-- they are literally the -sweetest, THE most amazingly -calm- natured kitties I've ever known. Just an absolute love. And what striking eyes.

It broke my heart when my little girl finally did pass.. but it was the strangest, most peaceful way she went.

It was a quiet spring afternoon and she was watching over my mom tend the lawn and garden.. then she just calmly walked to a warm spot under the rose bush and went to sleep. She never woke up again.

My beautiful Birman cat, Miss Mina died one week ago today. She gave me sixteen years of joy and companionship. I miss her so very much, she would cuddle with me every night under the covers. She was my best friend, so loyal so sweet so Precious.

I Love Birmans and have 2 myself. They do not get as big as Ragdolls and all have white gloves and socks. Birmans can and do MAT! Why? If they are not bathed regularly, oils from the skin will mix with fur close to the skin and horrible mats occur, especially on their tummy and hip areas. To get them out," Four Paws dematting rake" is the most wonderful tool . I actually made a video using the rake on my blue point female Birman "Tiffany"....who has the patience of a "nat". She likes it! :)

@thewaytorock27 i had my seal point since i was 9 years old.. He passed away an since then theres been a massive irreplaceable void.. I loved my cat so much. I guess i just had to vent to someone 'relatable' to my situation.. I miss his deep,loud droning meows..

my seal point birman just passed away at the age of 18 and a half, i've had him since i was born and nothing will ever replace him, i suggest anyone who wants to get a cat to get a birman.

I have a Birman Blue Point with amazing sapphire blue eyes she is gorgeous and so loyal she's like a dog will follow me to each room in the house and loves trying to lick everyone.
